My friend is using Mi Note 3 so he suggest me Mi Max because he told me that Mi phone is good. I ordered Mi Max its good but very big in size. But there is Wi Fi connectivity problem in Mi Max so I asked them to replace. One more problem is that you can refund phone or exchange it if you have purchased it from Mi account so better to purchase it from some other site like Amazon or Flipkart. I am really disappointed with service because I want to exchange Mi max with Mi note 3 but they denied to exchange. Very disappointed first time with Mi.

I'm using a Mi Max. It does not heat at all. Fast access, doesn't stuck, fast download/upload. great battery life. After fully charged I was able to use for two days with functioning to FB,you tube,whats app,etc. Direct access to Google Play store where you can download apps and many more along with Mi Store as well. Best Phone so far. Don't spend more money on other expensive android phones like Sony,Samsung,LG because this gives you more than enough satisfaction at a cheap price. Its a value for money phone.

Because there are many owner didn't report the issue, so maybe this is just the issue happen at your country batch.
Tell people to boycott this phone is not a solution, i don't think Xiaomi will ignore their customer.
So far, I don't encounter any brand that ignore customer in my country, even from lesser brand like Meizu and Acer.

I bought MiMax on 7/8/2016. Everything was working fine except Wifi was not getting connected. Wifi is detected but it doesn't get connected. This is a very serious problem which is faced my many users not just me. It is my request to Xiaomi to rectify the issue at the earliest if they want to maintain their brand value or else their reputation would be seriously damaged and may loose many potential customers.

Don't buy phone is defective . Wifi problem in almost every phone . Company not interested in customer grievances. I ALSo not allowing replacement or refund . We all are trapped. Never buy mi phones. Never trust Chinese company

For those has Wi-Fi issue, go deal with your own seller and get a replacement unit or perform warranty repair.
Because there are older batch of Mi Max phone that work without problem.
So, instead of telling people to boycott the new unit, why not direct take action and get your unit repaired? Complain here is just waste of time, won't help you to solve any issue on Wi-Fi if it is hardware issue.
Every phone will have some kind of hardware defect, but not always.

In my country, both XA Ultra and A9 Pro pricing is very close.
XA Ultra is USD 420, A9 Pro is USD 470. Mi Max 32GB is USD 222.
Then for the weight, it is the heaviest, but merely just 8gram more heavier than a XA Ultra.
It is also thinner at 7.9mm, XA Ultra is 8.4mm, thinnest is Mi Max at 7.5mm.
Get your fact right before trolling.
Just go and get a Xperia XA Ultra and stop trolling here.

just got Mi Max delivered. No WiFi connection can be established. Xiaomi is making a joke out of themselves by not pretending to care about such a major flaw.
Mi Max is awesome only one bug in music app Equalizer are not working I already submitted at Xiaomi eating for solution
Mi Max I received on 5-aug throgh Flipkart too has a wifi connectivity issue - doesn't connect to any Wi-Fi access point....I see below that lot of buyers from this Aug stock are facing the wifi connectivity issue - definitely seems to be WiFi hw issue...proactive active action is required from Xiaomi and sellers / e-commerce platforms rather than buyers going through the same issue discovery pains....
