I received this today. In this mobile is WiFi is not at all working. It's just waste of money. I'm not at all satisfied.

I received Mi Max today. I bought from mi India store directly. I am also facing Wifi Connectivity issues. It is not connecting any Wifi router including my MI3 hotspot.
The phone is useless for me with-out Wifi. I bought this big phone only for emails and online purchase etc.
My account is mi store still showing out-for-delivery. I am not whether I get option to return ir or replacement
I have brought my mi max phone on saturday its wifi is not working very bad experience of wifi

Users who have received defective MI Max handsets (Wifi Issues), It is a hardware defect , hence initiate the replacement / refund process ASAP. Keep the Customer care of MI and Eretailer site informed.

I t was bought frm mi store only and they r solely responsible for yhis prblm caused. For u thenphpbe could be working but wer u reacted the same way if u also had faced the same prblm..... for ur kind info, they r nt yaking req for replacement neither refunding.... better leave people to expeess their grieviences n no wrong if a person asks for boycot of thia product
My friend is using Mi Note 3 so he suggest me Mi Max because he told me that Mi phone is good. I ordered Mi Max its good but very big in size. But there is Wi Fi connectivity problem in Mi Max so I asked them to replace. One more problem is that you can refund phone or exchange it if you have purchased it from Mi account so better to purchase it from some other site like Amazon or Flipkart. I am really disappointed with service because I want to exchange Mi max with Mi note 3 but they denied to exchange. Very disappointed first time with Mi.

Therefore, the buyers rarely received lemon units.
However, this also means the buyers aren't the one who unbox them in 1st place.
I'm using a Mi Max. It does not heat at all. Fast access, doesn't stuck, fast download/upload. great battery life. After fully charged I was able to use for two days with functioning to FB,you tube,whats app,etc. Direct access to Google Play store where you can download apps and many more along with Mi Store as well. Best Phone so far. Don't spend more money on other expensive android phones like Sony,Samsung,LG because this gives you more than enough satisfaction at a cheap price. Its a value for money phone.

Because there are many owner didn't report the issue, so maybe this is just the issue happen at your country batch.
Tell people to boycott this phone is not a solution, i don't think Xiaomi will ignore their customer.
So far, I don't encounter any brand that ignore customer in my country, even from lesser brand like Meizu and Acer.

I bought MiMax on 7/8/2016. Everything was working fine except Wifi was not getting connected. Wifi is detected but it doesn't get connected. This is a very serious problem which is faced my many users not just me. It is my request to Xiaomi to rectify the issue at the earliest if they want to maintain their brand value or else their reputation would be seriously damaged and may loose many potential customers.

Is it our fault that the phone is defective.No, why so harsh replacement why do we need to go to the service center which are very few.No consumer support by the company. They still not given any solution. If you really want to buy . Go and buy . But then don't comment about your experience
