2016-2017 phablets were in trend! Unwanted to use one to watch movies as I was living in Kuwait at that time working in Projects in the Desert and had no source of entertainment.
It was exciting to own this phone it was something different it was also my first and only Xiomi phone that I owned.
I happened to use it only for a few months and than sold it off to a friend 😔 unfortunately 😭

I really wish Sony would make an Xperia Pro III with a 6.5" 16:9 screen, like this one. I don't doubt Sony will minimize the top and bottom bezel, so sub-170cm overall height is still possible.

can anyone recommend link for battery replacement? mine not good anymore. plugged in suddenly jumped from 30 to 80%.
usage is less than an hour (100%) I don't want to throw it away so yeah

Buy it in 2024..still running smooth in 2025..i use it for running some old android game.. Battery still works well and durable..

This phone has a big battery and last long this phone was buyed 8 years ago the screen has many Cracks but still works but not with the video on camera and screen records. If i watch a filmed camera video or screen record video then the screen gets black and gets a unknown message

October 2024 makes it 6 solid years of use. The best phone ever produced by xiaomi. I would buy a mi max 4 without a second thought if it was manufactured. Bring back mi max xiaomi. I would gladly use max 2 for another 5 years if it had the latest snapdragon, amoled, and slightly more ram.

Hello, like to report my MM2 had passed its 7.5 birthday! Still working like a charm, albeit an well-worn one. Sure it doesn't have the latest bells and whistles, but boy it sure had a speaker of volumes!
Battery still one it's original when it first manufactured, haven't had any issues ( I think SOC is 76% - lasts 1.33 days if fully discharged on moderate use, internet surfing for 3 hours daily).
Camera had its better days, but decently enough for casual note taking and selfie.
Tough screen had dropped onto pavement multiple times, only changed the protective screen so far. Metal corners took some dents over the years, blemished but sturdy
All in all, MM2 served its purposely well, even exceeding my expections. I truly hope the series will make a comeback in future, but i still can rely on this phone that should be heading its golden years soon...

Gone thorough some rough repairs 3 times screen replacement, WiFi signal lost 50 % strength after first repair and now have power button assembly jumpered as well.
But I still can't figure out any alternative. Only issue is android 7 which prevents loading newer apps. I'd love to keep using it if it updates to android 13.

Jigs, 10 Oct 2023The only issue is there are no sytem updates hence not compatible with many updated applications.I Installed custom Android 13 on mine. Works like a charm, all modern apps work perfectly. Why don't you do that too? It's easy with Xiaomi's flashtool. Works on Linux, Mac and Windows.
