My Mi Max 2 is sort of power consuming.
Under the Battery the following these 3 applications have taken about 25% of juice: Google Play Services, Android and Android System. Is that normal?
Can anybody advise please?
I have read the review from people saying that mi max 2 can upgrade the version to OREO and MIUI 9..
Is it true..?
does anyone of you update it already..?

I think it is a great phone for a great price! To be very picky - the screen could be a bit brighter, expecially when it is sunny outside, camera could be better in low light, no nfc, and I am not a fan of MIUI,but big screen is great, amazing battery life (3 days with low to moderate use),good camera, great build quality, and in the end MIUI is not as annoying as I first imagined.. I have been using it for a month or so and I am very happy with this device! At least for now... You get a lot for the money you spend

They are budget phones, only a few people(fools) would buy 128gb edition in a mid-end device. If you want 128gb phone, better invest in a flagship device and have years to get the worth out.
Nate, 14 Oct 2017the battery on this device is a monster i woke up at 7am and the battery last untill 11-1 ... moreI am getting the phone delivered tomorrow. The main reasons for buying this device are BIG Screen and AMAZING BATTERY!!! I have heard that the battery life is just freakin great in every review everywhere. Says that you get around 8-10 hours of Screen-on time even with heavy use(not extremely heavy use). That is my cherry point:) (only con for me is no OIS)

No, I have not experienced this problem on my Xiaomi Mi Max 2. For your 4G connection issue, you could try changing the preferred network type, but I am guessing that is already set to global as the data is working. For the WIFI connection issues, you may want to try setting your phone to use either 2.4ghz or 5ghz WIFI frequency in the WIFI settings. This has helped on my other Xiaomi device that had WIFI issues such as yours.
By pressing buttons itself, do you mean the screen tapping things without you doing it? I have solved that issue before on another phone by wiping my screen off (with the phone and screen on) with a wet lens cloth or paper towel. If this does not solve it, I would go to the Settings, Storage, click Cached data. It will ask to clear cached data for all apps, which are basically unneeded temporary files, you will not loose any data. Click OK, then reboot your phone.
I hope this solves your issues! I know a method that will most certainly solve this problem but trying this first is easier.
sandy , 13 Oct 2017Is it comfortable to use one hand
Or its so bigHello Sandy, just saw your reply now.
I do think it is comfortable to use one handed, but depending on hand size, you may not be able to tap everywhere on the screen just using your thumb (of the hand holding it). Yes, it is a very big and wide phone, but with that comes a giant battery and excellent battery life, while still remaining very thin.
This phone does offer a One-handed Operation Mode, which, if needed, makes using the screen easier with either hand.
Hi guys hv you try this: turn over your mi max 2 & gentle knot at the real camera area, you wil hear the weird sound (something like not fix property) its normal or only mine had this issue. Thx
