rabbit, 11 Sep 2017What's the word on Verizon over in the states? The first version of the phone was not compatible. And the second will follow the same path.
Does it come with any protective features like IP68 or CGG5?
Is it Ceramic built for all versions or just the 8G version?
AnonD-699470, 11 Sep 2017Android Oreo????Let's not get carried away,we are talking about the reasonably priced Xiaomi after all.
Oreo probably at the end of next year.Look at the 2016 top models and you'll see that almost all are still running on Android 6 with some hope of Android 7(still in BETA phase).
Does this thing *actually* have Band 12 LTE ?
If so, it might be worth buying in the U.S.

Xiaomi deserves appreciation for such unique ( and successful) design of gadget.
There is an adaptor for headset included in the box so don't worry.

What's the word on Verizon over in the states? The first version of the phone was not compatible.
It has the snapdragon 835 vs the 821 of the original which was a battery hog. In addition it's now a 6" display versus 6.4" of the original. It has a bigger battery than the Note 8 which has a 6.3" screen. I bet it will last longer than any of them... and it has so many freaking global LTE bands that it will work no matter what country you are from. Awesome phone. Kudos to Xiaomi.
AnonD-699411, 11 Sep 2017Quick question to the community of experts, - what is the compatibility of this phone's GS... moreIt is compatible with T-Mobile. The mi mix 2 has a very large amount of bands that it is compatible with, and there should be no problem with most 4g services around the world.
Quick question to the community of experts,
- what is the compatibility of this phone's GSM bands with the US provider T-Mobile?
Can anyone confirm that it's fully compatible, and there will be no nasty surprises - if I buy this phone, then try to use Skype for example, or use the phone as wi-fi hotspot and find it's only 2G or 3G because some frequencies or standards are misaligned between chinese made phone and US standards.
Thanks, would appreciate any expertise.
Ray, 07 Sep 2017Recently I have Mix and it's assume.... Mix 2 is better but I never buy it if the screen size ... moreVery good that the size is smaller! It is much better this way... I just hope that it would be even smaller than this...
Make notes for big screen, but normal phones with smaller, so you can actually use in with one hand without going to gym...
