Anonymous, 21 Aug 2017perfect phone with 3 weak points: no wireless charging onboard no oled screen no highend ... moreYou can always buy a wireless sticker. I have the Mi Mix 1 and it works great with a wireless sticker.
I am waiting for this one. I hope this will looks similar with the predecessor, and they will not copy Samsung or others. They would better make a smaller version too, a 5.5 inch one.
perfect phone with 3 weak points:
no wireless charging onboard
no oled screen
no highend camera
Anonymous, 19 Aug 2017No SD card slot, no removable battery. No deal!what the hell you want to do with that 256gb of phone memory
Why no stereo speakers and FM radio like in Mi Max 2,really not match with this bezel free design, and not very wise of you, xiaomi.
High-Res Audio chipset, nope.
OIS and EIS, NOPE
What the fvck Xiaomi, skipping essential features and specs even on premium level now, are we??
If it ain't waterproof. Then it'll just be a phone that could have been.
if this model had the card slot. It leaves no reason for me to buy Samsung galaxy note 8 and go and buy this Mi Mix 2
I think they should have a slide on the back that reveals a front camera
Jenny McAuley, 17 Jun 2017Xiaomi Mi Mix 2 vs Mi Mix, what's the differences?Mi Mix 2 has a 16: 9 display - not the crazy one (18: 9) in Mi Mix.
It's all about licensing.
The majority of their devices aren't licensed to run on LTE B20 and thus are restricted by firmware.
Xiaomi should definitely release a global version (not just global rom) that has band 20 (800MHz) support. It's the only band used in common by every UK 4G network provider. I'm sure there's a big market in the UK for large bezel-less phones like this, so long as they support this band.
AnonD-602639, 01 Aug 2017And band 20 for UK O2 4g on sale in UK. The theory that no one wants big phones is wrong, ... more100% Agree! Not sure why Xiaomi are cutting out so much of their market by not releasing their flagships with a global version (not just global rom) that has band 20 support. It's the only band used in common by every UK 4G network provider so it makes sense to include it!
Would be very interested if it has bands for UK including 20 for 4g on sale in UK.
Some of us do want powerful big screen phones with high screen to body ratio that fits in a normal pocket.
Apple said they would never do big phones and now they do a 6" and people love it.
I love my oneplus3 but really want big screen like 6.5". I miss my note 3 but prices are getting silly.
