Xiaomi Android Rumors

Update 2: The availability and pricing information for the Mi Mix 2 and Mi Note 3 has now leaked. The information in question comes in the form of some leaked slides that reveal September 15 launch for the Mix 2 and a starting price of $285 for the Mi Note 3 (higher end models cost $445 and $460, respectively).

As for Mi Mix 2's pricing, the device will start at around CNY 3,299 ($505) - that's for the 64GB variant. The other two variants (128GB and 256GB) will carry a price tag of CNY 3,599 (around $555) and CNY 3,999 (around $615), respectively.

Update 1: The Mi Note 3, the other phone that Xiaomi will unveil today, also leaked over this past weekend. The leak - which shows the handset's retail packaging - came courtesy of a relatively well known tipster based out of China.

The leak reveals the device is powered by Snapdragon 660 SoC, comes with 6GB/128GB memory configuration, and features 16MP front shooter. Rumors, however, say there'll be 'lighter' version as well (with 4GB RAM and 64GB storage).

Original story follows:

The Xiaomi Mi Mix 2, which is set to be made official today, has leaked again. Spotted on Weibo (China's Twitter), the leaked image focuses on the front of the phone, confirming yet again the tri bezel-less design and a comparatively smaller chin.

It's already confirmed the handset will be powered by the Snapdragon 835 SoC. As for other key specs, rumors so far have revealed a 6.2-inch 2,960x1,440 pixel AMOLED screen, 6GB RAM, and a either 4,400 or 4,500mAh battery.

It runs better than my brother's Nexus 5x (only if you forgive the gaming performance due to GPU gap), and can't spot a difference with OnePlus 3t on normal usage.
