Why is that most smartphones are constraint to Samsung's envelope? We need someone to think outside the box... Make a panel that covers the entire front of the device and it'll sell like hot cakes
This phone reach in Myanmar now with the price of 455$ for 16gb versio.. .
Anonymous, 01 Feb 2015Now available in Malaysia for RM1888Where can buy it at Malaysia? By the way, it only 16GB only? No micro card add in?
I have the phone for several days already and I can tell you - it is an amazing masterpiece from Xiaomi. This is their best quality product - I have a Hongmi, Mi2s, Mi3 and MiPad, but that one is the very best.
The screen is first class, better than any display I've seen on a smartphone, processor and RAM are more than enough, front camera is the best ever and the back one is very capable too - even at night photos, very very thin and elegant design and the battery life is more that I expected. Sound quality is hi-end also. I can tell you this is the best phone ever. I've got the 16GB version which has 12.54GB free storage after first boot. Everything about the phone is just great.

sing, 10 Feb 2015When can we expect this ph in indiaProbably June if not later. The next Xiaomi phone that will launch in India (after the 64gb version of Mi4) is most likely the Redmi 2 since they have discontinued the redmi and need some other model to fill the less than 10k Rs segment (since they don't have any phn less than 9999 rs presently).
It is also likely they will launch the 1gb/8gb version of the redmi first instead of directly launching the 2gb/16gb version since they have cultivated a habit of fleecing Indian customers.
16gb/2gb version might launch at 8k with the 8gb/1gb version at the usual 6k mark.

adhistya, 11 Feb 2015too bad xiaomi always forgot IR blaster for universal remote control... SKIP this phone Xiaomi didn't miss it. They asked their fans what they used in their Redmi smartphone. Fewer than 10% mentioned things like IR Blaster or even NFC. So they didn't put it. Unlike the manufacturer YOU buy from, Xiaomi listens to their customers lmao
too bad xiaomi always forgot IR blaster for universal remote control... SKIP this phone

suresh, 23 Jan 2015when will this mobile will be in flipkart.do any one know the release date of this mobile.plea... moreMost likely a very long period of time, XiaoMi is always having a hard time making their phones officially out of their mainland. Mi4 was released in India nearly a year after it was released in China, so you can't really expect the Mi Note to be launched in India instantly after it's launch in China.
