Zaki, 25 Jun 2020it's really a great device with undeniable superior photography. for people like me that don't... morethe screen on time can physically not reach 20hrs, the max i had was close to 11hrs, with google maps navigating me it was about 8~9hrs;
but it is true, it is a far cry from the battery optimization Huawei does, and on idle something takes up to 40% of the battery, in stats it says 'others' whatever that may be, and all that after many updates that have extended the battery life...i still have to use it on battery saver else it won't last 3~4 days;
something i never even tried on Huawei bcoz on normal mode it would last up to 7~8 days, and on idle , example Mate10 Pro will last up to 20days, still on normal mode

it's really a great device with undeniable superior photography. for people like me that don't really notice the difference in processor speed or pixel density, we care the most about wow factor photos and battery life. the device didn't fail me in both, but there is a strange leak in battery during idle time that ruins this experience for you. For example, the battery capacity on this processor should lead to insane 20 hours of screen on time but Xiaomi managed somehow to ruin this experience with un-efficient software that certainly need to be fixed. i was planning to buy the mi 10 pro 5g but i didn't because i'm afraid it has the same problem. Xiaomi please fix it.

Ist all about prefference, i just agree with functional convencion system. (not like mui 12 control center clown style - IOS).
Hope they improve buggy of existing features (like home screen bottom line disappearing), camera (like focus and night mode) and battery (overal and standby discharge) to make phone better, not fancy looking.

Xiaomi Mi Note 10 finally got Android 10 update, right after my wife's Oppo Find X. Oppo Find X user interface has changed significantly. It was very obvious there was a software version update.
Xiaomi has exactly the same look as it was in Android 9.
There are still so much to like about this phone. Compared to a phone with SD 800 series it is even slower than a phone with SD 845 i.e Oppo Find X.
But camera is still satisfying. I love the macro video mode, it can shoot BBC Earth like detailed of insects world. Colors are so vivid and dynamic. Screenshots from video are actually much better than Photo mode. I don't know why Xiaomi is not making a software twitch to address the vagueness of colors in photo mode.
Slow mode is still a complete joke. Putting together a mode like that is abomination when they market a phone with 5 impressive cameras "on paper."
