MladenJ, 11 Dec 2019This is not at all normal that the Mi Note 10 is more expensive with the SD730 than the Mi9Tpr... moreThe mi note 10 has the second best camera on a smartphone right now, compared to the very average one on the mi 9t pro.
what hell is going with phone makers screen becoming very narrow ,tall and more curvy each year by 2025 phones will look the same as tv remotes , flat dispaly with 16:9 ratio was perfect .
perfect .. but i dont like curved screen
Can anyone who owns this phone tell me if the Always on Display work reliably for third party app notifications like Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp, FB Messenger, missed calls, SMSes, Telegram etc - once these apps are whitelisted in Settings to escape Xiaomi's aggressive power management?
That 12MP telephoto camera is perfectly understandable since it offers 2x optical zoom at 50mm focal length, but what's the point of the other 5MP telephoto camera that upscales it to 8MP resolution? Also, I don't see any focal length value despite saying it provides 5x optical zoom.
Honestly, I rather take vivo's X30 Pro instead of this. That has two telephoto camera with two different focal length value, and that makes much more sense.
I like this specifications. But need flate screen.
what's wrong with this battery? 5260mAh and only 95 hrs endurance? Other phones with 3000mAh battery offer similar endurance at a lighter weight.
Xiao, 14 Dec 2019My XiaoNote10 heats pretty fast. I was trying the camera, took some shots...the images were ex... morehmm, phone gets warm but not any close to hot, yours may be broken,
but i got that with huawei too while gaming,
about laggy video = settings-> image stabilization, disable it
slow motion video = any phone needs tons of light for that, even Mate30pro - that is why one of the promo videos they show a slow mo of a burning matches = bcoz they give out a lot of light
also, Mi Note 10 at 108MP beats Mate30pro only in photos with good light, other than that Mate30pro wins in any category, costs however 300Eur more and has no volume buttons + that crappy waterfall screen, a no go for me, in fact Mi Note 10's screen is bad too, curved screens should go, i like them flat.
My XiaoNote10 heats pretty fast. I was trying the camera, took some shots...the images were excellent but man! It was really really hot. Video is also not really good. It's laggy. Not to mention the slowmo feature. The quality is poor. Dont be fooled by the camera selling point people. If younhave Huwawei p30, p30 pro, mate 30/pro... Stick to it for now. Xiaomi has excellent images to offer for standard shots but other than that, it has a lot to improve. Great, but not quite.
jonn, 12 Dec 2019does anybody who owns a xiaomi device have problems regarding wifi connectivity?yes.
1. Xiaomi Wifi to Router Wifi = bad, i get max 60% of the speed, sometimes less than half
2. Xiaomi Wifi to 'PC Wifi Mobile Hotspot' = 100% speed
Wifi router -> PC -> Xiaomi phone = 100% speed
3. testing speed with Ookla speedtest, app doesn't work perfectly, browser version of the Ookla speedtest gives best results
4. Wifi/Bluetooth scanning is disabled? one of the reasons connecting to Wifi may take longer, will however not affect download/upload speed
why won't Wifi work as it should?
in my case it's a Vodafone router, pretty much the router can't deal with Chinese technology, some certificates are missing or outdated....not in the phone, Vodafone is guilty?
so my PC filters the internet already, and the output i can share, therefore router can't know Xiaomi is connected....
how to fix it? disabling security in your router settings = bad solution but may work, i do not suggest doing that
is Xiaomi at fault? no, if you get 100% speed on some Wifi but on another not, then its the Wifi source that checks for security threats way too much, thus slowing down the data
does anybody who owns a xiaomi device have problems regarding wifi connectivity?
MladenJ, 11 Dec 2019This is not at all normal that the Mi Note 10 is more expensive with the SD730 than the Mi9Tpr... morei agree, new phones that today cost 1000eur should cost 300eur instead, and in 6months their price should go up to 1000eur instead = sarcasm
This is not at all normal that the Mi Note 10 is more expensive with the SD730 than the Mi9Tpro with the SD 855 for 150 Euros. Idiocy.
Is there someone working on GCam for Mi Note 10 already? Would appreciate if there is a video for it. Much easier to follow through than just words and sentences. :(
Imam, 10 Dec 2019Mi note 10 or Redmi K20 Pro?Redmi k30 pro
Mi note 10 or Redmi K20 Pro?
5260 mAh battery just SOT 90 hours? wtf
AltairBG, 09 Dec 2019I want to ask something:
Mi 9T have nano coating P2i and it's splash-resistant..
Do Mi Note ... moreyou seem to confuse few things, for one, if you keep your phone in a pocket, it's warm, therefore if it falls into water or on cold surface it will suck in air or water inside of the phone, regardless of any pico coating or nano coating,
secondly once the water is inside, and you put it back into your pocket, the water will partially turn into steam and will penetrate any free space in the phone
simply said, buy 5kg sack of rice, a huge glass jar, and if you spill any water on the Mi Note 10 or Mi 9T pro or not pro, just throw it quickly into that jar with rice and keep it there for days, and if the water was clean you may be lucky and the phone will work without any problems.
That applies to any phone that exists to this day, except Caterpillar, their phones are on a different level of water resistance.
I want to ask something:
Mi 9T have nano coating P2i and it's splash-resistant..
Do Mi Note 10 have this P21 coating too?
I mean..For this price it must have this atleast, right?
GSM Arena doesn't say that Mi 9T have nano coating P2i or any kind of IP rating - but it does.
So is it the same about Mi Note 10?
