Anonymous, 09 Apr 2021I have this phone. It's not compatible with T-Mobile or AT&T or any other carrier her... morehow so, as it has bands 2 and 4 both used (especially 4 extensively) by Tmobile. Bands 13, 66 and 71 are missing but those are used to a much lesser extent compared to 2 and 4. I agree about ATT as in some areas they broadcast mostly on 2 and 12. Still 2 should get you there. 5 is and older one that is sometimes available.

I have this phone. It's not compatible with T-Mobile or AT&T or any other carrier here in the US. I need to make root to make it stick on one band because it keeps changing lte bands. And sometimes when people call me it direct them to the voicemail. It's like my phone is turned off but I have full bars !

I got it just yesterday and I'm from the Philippines btw. It is good however I have a problem installing apps, for tiktok it says the app is not available for your country, some says app has been removed, and searching apps on my google playstore because no other apps shows except for chrome, google calendar, and gmail. How can I fix this and can it be fixed? Please help me. Thanks 😌

I've sent my phone to their service center and it took about 4 months after it was fixed. After almost 2 months of usage, my screen starts to flicker again, so I've sent it to the service center again yesterday. Waiting game is on again. If only this phone doesn't have screen flickering issue, it would be a great phone for me.

I sent my phone to warranty because of flickering screen and i waited 5 months for them to fix it. After I received my found it works fine and after 2 months the screen is dead again. Any help?

And the biggest ... morenot on my side, and define recent, the update you are talking about was quite long time ago, 8~12Weeks ago? i took a lot of pics in the last few days, no prob with focus and the phone does not become too warm either, altho most of the pics i took were not in the 108MP mode

Guy this phone has a problem after the recent software update of MIUI 12.1.3. And the biggest of the Problem is the Phone overheats and misbehaves when taking photos by not able to focus

S20Ultra does same pics as Mi Note10, the difference is marginal, it's just the 108MP file size on the S20Ultra is bigger, in my tests i had pics on S20Ultra of some 26MB, same pic taken few seconds later with Mi Note10 = 16MB , almost same amount of details on both pics, just the focus seems to be at a different spot.
Finger/face ID works as for now much much better and faster on Mi Note10 🤷♂️. This is a 580Eur phone beating a 900Eur phone (prices i bought the phones at, Xiaomi was 2weeks after the release, the S20Ultra 1year after release)

but if you mean to set ISO and shutter speed, it had that out of the box back in 2019;
so you can take pics at night with a tripod, and it does awesome pics;
if you have a rig that can follow stars, you can use it to take pics of stars too, unfortunately with a tripod even at some 2~4sec exposure if you enlarge the picture, you will notice that the stars have moved....

All in all it is Gcam in mi note ... moreGcam as in Google Camera that you can't install on this phone unless you download the Apk? well, i tried that, even the most recent version works, but the picture quality ain't better than in automatic mode on default camera; and the pictures they posted on their page, some of them are not possible if you won't go deep into some mountains, since the lights of nearby cities will prevent taking good pics of the night sky;
and just now i got new MiUI update (Global 12.1.3 'Stable' 🤣) that made the phone lag like crazy, bet within days there will be new update

All in all it is Gcam in mi note 10 pro which makes this phone a camera beast. Except software this phone is not behind any iphone, galaxy at half price. In camera it is far ahead.

Apple, huawei are best ... moredefault camera app is ok for good light conditions which has the resolution of some 20MP; night mode however is useless, the Pro mode does better pics at night, and as i mentioned pro mode on the Mi Note10 beats Huawei P40pro....where the default camera app does best pics, yet still not good enough, i mean the Mi Note10 gets now dozens of updates per day, while first few months after the release, there were no updates ta all, and now after all those updates, i don't get the feeling that anything got that much better;
of course it was not a bad choice to cut the power from the camera to save power, but that power did hold the lens in check, now if i shake the phone i can hear the 108MP lens hitting something....that since almost 1year? but the battery lasts longer

Apple, huawei are best at it. I had screen freezing problem in mi note 10 pro. With some tweaking it has gone. People still facing problem. I think hardware is good in xiaomi phones. It is software which keeps them behind. Camera hardware in note 10 pro is good but default camera app is bad. Gcam gives excellent results compare to default. This might change soon and then it will be tough for apple, samsung. Huawei alrdy struggling. Sad.

I have canon dslr d... morei know the answer to that question, and that is alone by holding the two phones, xiaomi vs huawei or vs samsung, xiaomi does not sit so well in ones hand - bad balanced phone?, then there is the performance and battery optimization, that xiaomi can't get right, the Huawei Mate 10 pro that i already have since maybe 4years, works and is more responsive than this xiaomi; fingerprint or face unlocking on the Mate10pro or the p40pro, works each time with same nearly instant speed, however Mi Note10 gives you the feel, that 3 out of 10 unlocks, are actually planned, and the rest is a game of luck :| face unlocking is a pain, p40pro unlocks when there is no light sources.
The power button on the Mate10pro works ever since with same speed, on the xiaomi after like 1year it started to lag;
But, in terms of camera, the Mi Note10 smashes all scores, idk how the other phones are better according to DXOMARK, the Mi Note 10 could do what it does now out of the box in 2019, and it still beats p40pro even without the 108MP mode, but not on the video quality.
And to be fair, i got the feeling that without the google services, the Huawei phones lack the needed software updates, that would make the phone better.
Now, p40pro and Mi note10 both have curved screens, so how come Mi Note10 manages to reflect any light straight into your eyes, while the reflections on the p40pro are minimal?
Wifi connectivity on both huawei phones is nearly instant, MiNote10 needs sometimes like 2min to connect 😑
And now most annoying since months, when switching to silent mode, and going back to the normal mode with all sounds, the notification sound and some other sound which i choosed a mp3 to play, plays continuously....why? and each time i switch between those modes, i add a layer of the sound on top of the previous ones - that is an insane failure.

I have canon dslr d60. I use it much less because mi note 10 pro gives very good quality pictures with Gcam. Gcam is far better compare to default cameraa app. I dont understand why people buying apple, samsung, huawei at much exoensive prices when xiaomi gives good quality at much cheaper prices. Tks Xiaomi.
