After 2,5 months of using this device I had NO issues. Nothing. Everything is good , camera battery and display. Only problem was when I put this phone on the sun on the beach because it is black and became very hot and temperature problem. It is problem on every phone. Apsolutely no problem with sensors during calls, display become dark when I put on my ear and become on when I finished call. Yesterday I recieved MIUI 12 , I am satisfied until now. If somebody has a some problem with software just do factory reset of phone and try again all

I'm gonna say it outright. This phone does not have a proximity sensor. I think it relies on gyro to turn off the screen during calls and has to be in a certain angle. Can be quite a deal breaker

Everything is perfect but the screen latency issues is something that bothers me. it doesn't occur all the time but I believe it happens when the screen is warmer than usual. Anyone facing this issue?

Anonymous, 03 Sep 2020My battery lasts ages using Global version, and I also find battery lasts longer when I leave ... moreIf you wipe dalvik&cache (or after ROM update), the system needs to rebuild dalvik with the full ART optimization. This starts only when the device reaches 100% and phone still plugged and on Idle mode. Search that on android.com !
This is not an issue if your battery percentage doesn't change, because dalvik with ART optmization consume less powers !
Alternative (root needed), if you wipe dalvik&cache (or after rom update) :
open terminal
type : su
thena
type : cmd package bg-dexopt-job
- wait 10 minutes or more if you have a lot of apps installed.
- reboot after it's finished !
Do that only once if you wipe dalvik&cache / ROM update !
Search that command on Google to learn more !

Everybtime during the call my ear touches the mute button on a dial pad causing it to mute speaker sometimes it touches the speaker button and it becase a loud speaker please xiaomi rectify this issue
