For people who are having proximity sensor problem. Go to settings then go to additional settings then go to accessibility. Then on the end there is option switch to speaker automatically. Turn it off your problem will solve.

It's showing the sensor model as Xiaomi Proximity, which if I remember correctly, is the same name which appears on other Xiaomi phones. It works okay for me so do check from any app which tests sensors to see if they can detect it.

It's a software integration depends on gyroscope sensor, and unfortunately it works only on vertical position.

What happened there, they build only phone without that sensor ?

This phone's display has a high flickering rate, it's not noticeable with naked eyes but after using this phone for 1 continuous hour you will have headache.

Terrible phone. Yes it has pecs, but my experience is terrible. Also when I am speaking to someone, buttons are pressed with my ear, or sometimes settings are changed etc. while my ear is pressing the screen. Like, from the 10 points system I would likely give just 5 points to this phone. It is better to buy economy Samsung, because it does not have such sensor issues. After configuring sound it is still loud somewhere because settings are not applied for anything. Yes, design is slick, specs are good, but you get shitty experience. Moving back to Apple. Just thought go over to Android.

Techsign, 26 Jun 2020I think is a software problem. Every phone has proximity sensor. Yes, Go to Mi website. There is no proximity sensor in this device. I don't understand how could they miss it?

This is the first time I ... moreIf you mean note 8 with sd 835 then I think is a good upgrade in performance they are very similar in FPS but sd 730g is much more battery efficient and with 5260mah you can use it for 2 days and charging tales 1h10min , sd 730g is really good , you dont have in pubg HDR ultra option but that's not because of sd 730g itself because even sd 821 has it just because sd want to sell flagship soc , you can play on HDR extrême with gfx tool , the mi note 10 lite have better cameras than the note 8 and HDR cerified amoled ,the design and materials used make it premuim , if you are not a very heavy gamer who want playing with a constant 60fps in HDR in pubg then it is better for you than the mi 9 or any Samsung midrange
The note 8 have sd 835 or an exynos .. , the note 9 have sd 845 or an exynos .. So check what's tour processor
