Xiaomi will announce its first in-house SoC, Xring O1. The chip will be showcased on May 22, when we'll also see the new tablet Pad 7 Ultra, powered by the same platform.
Today, the device allegedly appeared on Geekbench, revealing once again the chip's performance. The revealed details about the CPU align with a previous benchmark, reportedly of the Xiaomi 15S Pro smartphone.

The 2,191 single-core result and 8,741 multi-core score are not as good as the smartphone's, but they are good enough for a top-tier tablet. Note that the discrepancy in performance comes from lower clock speeds for the tablet's version of the O1 chipset. It seems to be a lower binning and the top 2+4 cores run at lower clocks, the bottom 2+2 cores are the same.
Xiaomi Xring O1 CPU | Phone | Tablet |
---|---|---|
Cluster 4 | 2 cores @ 3.90GHz | 2 cores @ 3.70GHz |
Cluster 3 | 4 cores @ 3.40GHz | 4 cores @ 3.04GHz |
Cluster 2 | 2 cores @ 1.89GHz | 2 cores @ 1.89GHz |
Cluster 1 | 2 cores @ 1.80GHz | 2 cores @ 1.80GHz |
The new tablet will have a massive 14” OLED screen and a 12,000 mAh battery with support for 120W wired charging. It will be a 5.1 mm thin device and weigh 609 grams - a fairly light tablet, given its size. It will have support for a keyboard and a stylus, details on which we'll learn in just two days. Per Geekbench, the tablet ran Android 15 and had 16GB of RAM.
It has way larger area to dicipate heat. Thiness in this case is not an indicator for cooling performance.
