You can use the older GCam version (7.3.0.18) to have Night Sight in the wide-angle and macro modes or you can use the newer GCam 8.1 and use Night Sight on the main and selfie camera (which is better than the previous version in very low light) but you'll have to use the default camera app for the macro and ultrawide since the GCam 8.1 port still doesn't have support for both.

Will test it more during the day, but for the moment 7.3.018 covers more options - having a working macro and wide option also.
The comments section are full of misleading informations, and also personal hates.
Just bear in mind there is no perfect smartphone, then all the complain will become make sense, because all people expect more and more for the price they pay, simply just too greedy, cannot satisfied.
My opinion would be always find the highest performance processor in smartphone to start with, let say start with SD865 for this year, then only top up your requirement regarding camera, screen, speaker, wireless charging, battery, IP rating, and so on features, which all add up to the pricing.
If you can't afford for the price, then have to settle down with lowered specs smartphone.
For any hardware issue, customer service and repair is the proper way to go, that is what warranty is for. Keep showing complain at there won't solve any of your issue.

GCam with Night Sight version 8.1 port is already available for the Poco F2 Pro and it looks absolutely marvelous in low light performance. You can sideload the APK below and compare just how much superior GCam is in low light, you won't believe it captures gorgeous nightscapes even without OIS on its main camera.

khh, 26 Dec 2020What's the definition of a cheap phone? the market are overwhelmed of overpriced junkIt depends on your income. The Poco F2 Pro is cheap by flagship standards but it's still way too expensive for most people who can only afford midrange phones with prices ranging from $200-$300.
Anonymous, 26 Dec 2020Wtf this phone only support 2 5g bandIt actually supports the most common/most widely deployed 5G bands worldwide - midband 5G which is sort of the 5G base or foundation upon which 5G coverage will be implemented in most countries. Adding less common 5G bands will only add to phone costs. You can have more 5G bands in a phone at lower or the same price as the Poco F2 Pro but it will be using a midrange processor. Or --- you can always pay $1000+ for more 5G bands that aren't going to be deployed soon in a wider area like midband 5G currently is.
Wtf this phone only support 2 5g band

dkajopoy, 25 Dec 2020merry Christmas to all. I am planning to buy the f2 pro but after readings some comments here ... moreThe pop up is very reliable. Actually there's only one user here since the release of the Poco F2 Pro that reported of pop up camera failure. As for battery, no drain issues. MIUI? Well MIUI has been quirky ever since. It's improved much in MIUI 12 and possibly even more in later releases though I doubt if the aggressive memory handling quirk can be resolved by Xiaomi. MIUI still aggressively kills apps/widgets that are meant to run continuously in the background or foreground (like analog clock, weather and calendar widgets) unless you know how to protect them from MIUI's app killing spree.
Paleeto, 25 Dec 2020You know I'm actually tired of seeing this in-accurate response. Firstly the feature requ... moreI'd like to add, Poco F2 Pro DOES NOT support video out over USB C regardless of what USB C to HDMI cable or adapter you are using be it MHL, myDP(Slimport) or any newer generic USB C to HDMI cable you see available online. Again you need to look for USB type-C 3.1 spec for highest chances of support for video out over USB C (Pixel phones are exceptions. They have USB C 3.1 but Google intentionally disabled video out so you'll buyba chromecast instead for wireless connection).
Paleeto, 25 Dec 2020You know I'm actually tired of seeing this in-accurate response. Firstly the feature requ... moreIt's technically not 100% accurate to say so but at least it serves the purpose of informing less technical people what they need to look in MODERN/RECENT/NEWER phones to be sure the new phone they are going to buy is capable of VIDEO OUT via USB.
To keep it short and simple, one simply just has to look at the specs by GSMARENA.COM for the phone under 'COMMS - USB'. If it says 'USB Type-C 3.1, 3.2' or later, there's 99.99% chance it supports WIRED video out via MHL, MyDP or some other standard unless it's intentionally disabled like in Google's Pixel phones.
MHL is a much, much, OLDER standard and yes, some older phones with micro USB 2.0 were capable of outputting wired Full HD video via the micro USB port through MHL for as long as the HDMI port of the TV or secondary device supported it and as long as you used an older micro USB to HDMI MHL cable. It turns out, practically all USB C to HDMI cables sold online only support the newer alternate mode over USB C, which means you need USB Type-C 3.1 and above. That keeps it simple for majority of the users even if type C 3.1 or higher is not an absolute requirement for video out.
