I bought my poco m3 128gb international model in 2021. It was a great smartphone, fast, great photos and great battery, and great update support. The problem of this model is the hardware issue that when you turn off or restart your phone will stuck in a dead boot. In my case the issue started in 2023, and started when a glitch from the UI forced me to turn off the phone. I tried a lot of fixes, but in the end i giveaway my phone to a friend ( saying to him the problem of the dead boot).
I used to have this phone. My expectation is too high by looking at the spec offered by this phone when I decided to buy it. Now, I am using low end Samsung Phone (A05). It works casually to meet its low price. In some occassion it can act like midrange phone, which is a surprise from Samsung. What a dynamic performance :) hmmm...hmmmm...
Meh not too bad, my other phone is broken and I remember having this in my ᵇᵃˢᵉᵐᵉⁿᵗ so I thought I can use it while saving my money to fix that other phone. And bout some Deadboot or whatever problems, idk mate I think it's because you use your phone in yeaaa that way. I also use Custom ROM and oh boi so smooth. Heat is still there, don't know why da fever didn't want to go. But ey, now I can play CoD:M and some ᵗʰᶦⁿᵍʸ
NosTGames, 27 Apr 2024It won't deadboot if i change it to custom rom like Android 10 or something right?Hardware issue .. pass
The phone is waterproof when I accidentally drop it on water container then I get it out of there and it's working
This bluetooth signal so bad for earphone bluetooth, not recommended for listening music
Anonymous, 16 Mar 2024I have had this phone since the end of 2021, it has turned off 6 times, I turned it on myself ... moreI 100%tly agree with you.
One of, if not the worst phone I've ever had. Dead boot.

It's a power button issue with the connectivity pad. I had the same issue and so did many others. Took it to the shop to fix it. If you are in Asia there are many independent shops that can fix it for cheap. But it's harder in the US and more expensive.
A good phone for its price at the time of release, I've been using it for 3 years. Downside I've noticed while using this phone is that the default file manager is very slow in accessing the SD card, whereas third-party file managers work quickly (some people say this is caused by MIUI). Another annoying issue with the Poco M3 is that during restarts or shutdowns, it sometimes gets stuck in a bootloop or freezes on the logo screen, which is a problem reported by several others in the community. As of today, my phone has experienced a deadboot – there is no MIUI logo or battery icon when plugged in. In conclusion, my 3-year experience with this phone has been good overall; it performed well and was fairly fast for its price.
Jrdn, 26 Apr 2024Those who said lagging phone..change to custom rom bro you know Xiaomi rom is shit 🤣It won't deadboot if i change it to custom rom like Android 10 or something right?

It overheats and i actually had to replace its battery
because it's bloated
It's good for gaming but its camera sucks though
I have had this phone since the end of 2021, it has turned off 6 times, I turned it on myself by taking it apart and applying heat, it kept turning off because the webview system was going crazy, it always told me that the webview stopped, especially in Google applications. I decided not to update anything, neither system applications nor store applications, since January 2023 it hasn't given me any problems, but I lost WhatsApp because I can't update anything. It's a headache, this is the worst thing Xiaomi has done in its entire history.
Had this phone once, mobo died on me and it's hard to get this bad boi back on when you turn it off. Do NOT get this phone second-hand as it almost certain that it has the same defect.
no to xiaomi again!!!

Why are there no problems? Because I don’t update my phone, in general, it works great, so it’s funny when fools run after the latest firmware and then cry.
