I've been using Poco M3 for more than 3 years, excellent battery, no problems at all.
Why are there no problems? Because I don’t update my phone, in general, it works great, so it’s funny when fools run after the latest firmware and then cry.
Need to replace battery again

I had dead boot many times.
You have to wait about 10 days until the battery drops to 0%
Charge to 3% and turn on.
Urai, 14 Feb 2024The Phone has been out and dead for weeks not and i need to get it back on. how do i do that pls?https://ibb.co/hK7V9Jv here's how I go about turning on my poco. If this method doesn't work then try to heat up the IC with a hairdryer, then quickly do the method while the board is warm. Another thing to try is a slower charger instead of using the original power brick/adapter the phone comes with try a different one. It's a trail and error procedure that can work with 1 try or 100 tries. Tell me if this works or not please

Urai, 13 Jan 2023Pls friend how did you fix the issue. My phone is becoming frustrating for me No solution on dead boot.
Only discharge to 0%
To those who get the deadboot, before tou reboot connect you phone to the charger, there's a chance it won't deadboot but most of the time it will so what you need to do is quickly open the open and disconnect the secondary board then disconnect the battery, connect it to the character then press and hold your power button then quickly reconnect the secondary board then the battery, try this a few times if the phone doesn't turn on. Good luck I hope everyone suffering with this gets a better phone asap....
Gabrison, 28 Jan 2024How where you able to download the update since it wouldn't restart after the download?
... moreI’m not the OP but I’ll reply with my experience anyway.
First, I factory reset the device. This will not cause the phone to get stuck like a typical restart. Once the reset has been completed you can download the update and restart the phone without it getting stuck.

Posting from a Poco M3. Deadboot issue no more at update 14.0.2. Seems more like a software issue mostly since many report having this issue after an update. But new problems with connectivity and SIM card detection issues since this update.
I couldn't update this phone for a long time since restarting it after downloading the update always KO the phone. When It finally works, had to redownload the update again. Instead, drain the battery to no more than 15% which is the min power needed to update and then factory reset. Hopefully, it can restart the correct way. Then update to the latest version in one sitting keeping the battery at 15%. No problems restarting this phone ever since. Good luck
Some tricks on restart from 0% battery, if the start screen appears don't keep pressing the power and/or volume up button. If will automatically restart if you keep charging it. Occasionally like no more than a few minutes, press the power button to keep the phone from going dormant. Failure to do this may result in the phone going into another dead boot and then you have to wait to drain the battery again.
I have been using this xiaomi poco m3 smartphone for about 3 years, I can conclude that this smartphone is quite powerful in terms of a very durable battery, for the cipset that is used, it is quite strong, namely using snapdragon 662 to play online games, in my opinion, it is enough, but inggat what games you play, remembering that games are now getting bigger and heavier.
To peeps facing the deadboot issue who want to update to the latest OS: After you drain the battery and switch it on, back up all your data and factory reset your device. This will temporarily solve the deadbooting and actually allow you to update your device by downloading the software and restarting the phone. Then you can restore all your data.
After sometime however the deadbooting comes back but at least your OS, MIUI and security will be up-to-date.
Anonymous, 12 Nov 2023Yes but you paid money for default apps with ads like file browserIt rarelly matter.
I just need to install the alternative that is free from ads like zarchiver.
After 2 years and 2 months, mine had finaly had the infamous Poco M3 failure, were the CPU simply desolders himself.
Cost me half the aquisition price to fix it.
safin asa, 04 Nov 2023Did you use the phone? I used to have this phone with miui 14 global, and it runs just fineYes but you paid money for default apps with ads like file browser
