Does this phone have NFC in singapore?
been using this phone for a few days now. i want to write a little review
pros:
- lightweight, slim and comfortable build
- screen: accurate colors, decent brightness, 90hz refresh
- cameras are probably the best in its price range
- minimal lag and bloatware
- good battery life: can easily get 6-7 hours of sot even with heavy use
- cheapest 256gb storage phone you can get
- proper dark mode for once on a xiaomeme
- great haptic feedback
- 33w charging can take this phone from 0 to 100% in just below an hour
cons:
- some arbitrary changes in miui for poco, like the crap launcher (you lose gesture navigation if you change it)
- speakers are pretty mediocre: the top speaker is nowhere near as loud or clear as the bottom one, creating a weak stereo balance
- mediocre gaming experience due to the weak gpu
- headphone jack output is slightly below average
- auto brightness could use some tweaking. screen is too dark in low light
- one of the cameras just says "ai". really, xiaomi?
overall its quite a good phone. if you can get the 256gb variant for £189 here in the uk (equivalent to 225 usd/18k inr), or even cheaper from resellers, i do recommend it. very reliable

So far the phone works great in all areas but the speakers are kind of weak and has lower volume than my other Poco and Redmi phones (both made by Xiaomi). Any idea why? Is it supposed to be like that? The reviews online say that the speakers for Poco M4 Pro should be very loud. The sound also disappears sometimes while playing music, for a while, and then it comes back. I wonder if the sound has bugs in it. Another weird thing I noticed is that when playing music in YouTube, the sound is low but then when I miniaturize YouTube into a small floating window when I leave it, suddenly the sound gets a lot louder. I tried to Google this problem but nothing came up. What do you all think?
I've read a lot about bad battery, can it hold up for a day? And Does the phone support IP 53 water resistance? as the matter is not mentioned on the Xiaomi website

Are there any issues in the current MIUI version with the proximity sensor and screen off during the call ? also, is there an automatic call recording without any announcement?
Appreciate your help, it's important.
Could someone please try doing the following on their Poco M4 Pro phone:
Store some images and songs by creating a folder on SD card. Restart the phone, then check whether that folder, image, and songs on SD card exist(deleted) or not.
Don't know if it's happening on only my phone or someone else.

I'm glad I'm not the only one who experienced this. Yeah the volume is really weak via earphones/headphones.
But overall I agree, this phone is great value for money. I got it for £189 on Amazon as a stopgap until I got my iPhone 14 Pro. And I will still use it as a backup.

I received this Android 12 update. and i been trying to download it for over a month now but it's not downloading up to now. I don't know what is wrong please what should I do? I need to update my phone to Android 12 xiaomi do something this is my first time of using this product
I have this as a backup phone. I daily an iPhone 12 Pro.
Pros:
Great display
Great performance
Great cameras (I used them for astro photography)
Android 12
3.5mm jack
Expandable storage
Cons:
Software is a little buggy sometimes
3.5mm output impedance is INSANELY low. EarBuds and Headphones come out really quiet. If you're using this to listen to music, I recommend an amp.

The camera takes acceptable photos in perfect lighting and stillness conditions, but forget about 64MP, you will get the equivalent of a decent 16MP camera at best. It's a very powerful, fast phone. A bit blocky in the hand but the screen is good, the fingerprint sensor is fast and responsive, the speakers are fine - you can't really ask for more at this price point. An excellent phone for those who are willing to compromise on a little quality to get plenty of bang for their buck
A lot of great features and very customisable, but let down badly by a poor camera which isn't fit for purpose.

Ambient light sensor have poor sensitivity in very low light environments (compared to other models).
Because of this, the screen brightness ends up being very low depending on the situation, and there is a need to manually adjust the brightness to increase it a little.
Light sensor has low sensitivity in very low light environments, compared to other models, causing android to darken the screen a lot in very low light environments (automatic adaptive brightness).
Using the "Sensor Test" app or entering the MIUI Test Tols ( * # * # MIUI # * # *) -> light sensor, I compared the light sensor sensitivity of this model with two other models: Redmi Note 6 PRO and Poco X4 PRO 5G. I noticed that the sensor of the Poco M4 Pro 4G seems to be less sensitive in low light environments.
For example, in the room with only the brightness of the TV, the Redmi Note 6 PRO detected 5 lx and the Poco X4 PRO 5G about 10 lx. The Poco M4 Pro 4G, zero lx.
In environments with a more light and outdoors, it works perfectly. Only when it is a place with very low light is it less sensitive. And that makes the screen darker more.
hello, is poco m4 pro has touch issue for playing rhythm games?
