For people saying theres a very loud call sound in the earpiece speaker, theres something called earphones, and they are very cheap. Go get them.
People complaining that the earpiece is too loud, this has to be a joke....really? have you ever heard of someone complaining because their stereo,TV, PC or Phone is "too loud"? LMAO
Have you all tried lowering the volume? Like jesus christ....
beep bop boop, 13 Mar 2021better screen, faster storage type, WAAAAYYYYY better camera qualityhahah we will see

Anonymous, 19 Mar 2021We're talking about the likelihood of it being fixed in updates. Yes, they told same thing last year, and no fix. Only fix that I found is to root phone and put custom kernel.

I puted on desk 5 various phones and X3 (P40 lite, Huawey Y, S7, S10 and some Noa phone) - only Poco X3 can be heared from distance of 2m!!
Please use google and put "Poco X3 loud calls" - you will see how many people have that issue.
Michael, 19 Mar 2021Poco X3 NFC is £169 (€197, $235) this Saturday in the UK for the 128GB version. Should I wait ... moreSince you've used to AMOLED displays for 6+ years, I would say wait for Redmi Note 10 Pro.
Being used to AMOLED means you're used to seeing better differentiation in colors while viewing pictures/videos, higher brightness/visibility outdoors & Always on Display.
Poco X3 has AOD, but I've never tried it.
Back camera of RN10 Pro is better for pictures, while Poco X3's is better for video recording.
Selfie camera of Poco X3 isn't that good, so it's worth giving RN10 Pro selfie cam a try. Not sure how that compares.
RN10 Pro has less weight while Poco X3 is a little heavy.
RN10 Pro comes with Android 11, while. Poco X3 is waiting on it.
R10 Pro has Dual Sim slot (2SIM + SD card) while Poco X3 has Hybrid Sim slot (1SIM + 1 SD card or 2SIM without SD card).

I Joined Xiaomi & Poco X3 communities a month before buying this phone to check its complaints and I'm still active in them. You're the first person that I've come across with this complaint.
I don't think it can be called a "problem"... It's just an aspect of the phone that majority of people would actually like. You should have done deeper research into the phone.
And you sound very ill-mannered from your choice of words.

And because of that, I think that I have rights to return phone becase of this. If you look at reviews of this phone - nobody said that earpiece is too loud. This must be emphasized in phone specification, like Huawey have "no Google service".
Tomina, 19 Mar 2021But why is there about houndreds of various topics over internet about this issue? This is not... moreI had used Poco X3 NFC almost a month. For me it is fine the earpiece looks designed louder than usually. But it is still fine for me.
Maybe for people who working as company men who like setup silent scenary like in the movie will not suitable for using Poco X3 series.
Tomina, 18 Mar 2021This is worst phone for office works, because of issue (bug) with loud earpiece speaker. Still... moreThe earpiece volume sound out is rather high, but for me, simple man, fast charging man, not working on building of office, not working for international company, branded company, I am still fine. Still can be accepted. Everybody has different thinking, different the way of opinion.
Poco X3 NFC is £169 (€197, $235) this Saturday in the UK for the 128GB version. Should I wait and get the Redmi Note 10 Pro or buy it this instead.
The only issue I can see is the design and maybe the screen being IPS. I've had AMOLED for about 6 years on other phones, will I notice a significant difference?
But for £169, it seems like a good deal.
Anonymous, 18 Mar 2021That's a unique complaint. I wouldn't call it a bug if it's just earpiece speak... moreBut why is there about houndreds of various topics over internet about this issue? This is not normal, if 100 various phones don't have loud earspeaker - then this is bug on X3.
So this is big advice to everyone who works in office - dont buy this phone. You cant have private conversation, and sometimes other side ask me to "turn off speakerphone" - so what can I do? Tell to everyone that Xiaomi X3 Poco is peace of garbage for office works.
Tomina, 18 Mar 2021No, no, no, no and no. This phone have manafacturer issuse (bug) with earpiece. Maybe if this ... moreThat's a unique complaint. I wouldn't call it a bug if it's just earpiece speaker is too loud.
Some would actually like this aspect, as you've already said. So I doubt Xiaomi would address this issue in updates.
Try playing around in Sound effects. Maybe Preset, Volume adjustment, Equalizer, Mono audio & adjusting balance can make it better for you.
I also know about non-root apps that increase your speaker volume beyond its limits, so there must be some that lets you lower the volume as well.
