My poco x3 pro died 2days ago, November 1. I was just browsing Facebook and it suddenly turned off and won't boot anymore. No sign of Life.
Guys, I got the warning too late, my phone died on me overnight. Imagine waking up to see a dead phone. Backups failed too.
POCO is a thrash way to get rid of excess parts floating around the MI offices. Not meant to be used as an actual phone.
my freaking poco just died today at november 11, out of nowhere. i was just using the flashlight and suddenly it turned off i tried charging for 1 hour recently still no bootup so definitely a deadboot. i'm having doubts on buying the poco f5 because of this.
Guys, phone is dead. I got hit by the same problem everyone is experiencing. Dead mobo. I do not recommend anyone from buying this phone, even POCO employee confirmed this problem on POCO Twitter.
Cheap Company

Limon, 25 Oct 2023I have been using my x3 pro for... 2.2 years. The only problem is that the battery drains fast... moreBecause of the aging battery, plus most of the apps now draining more power, changing battery could help a little.
I believe that the smartphone death is because of playing Genshin Impact and Honkai Star-Rail for very long hour plus Turbo charger plug in. Please don't play these game in hot country as it could be fried until broken. One way to have these kind of game playing is don't use the included 33W charger, use a normal 18W QC3.0 charger so that it slowdown the charging, but not overheat the phone, so that when you update your smartphone, your smartphone can still survive.
I have been using my x3 pro for... 2.2 years. The only problem is that the battery drains fast if using it a lot for heavy social media and a few minutes of gaming (minutes, not hours, probably would last like 3-4 hours for games, max). Besides that, great phone, loved it. Looking to change it for something a bit better (mostly because I want a new battery and a better camera), but overall, I loved it.
A useless phone has been lying for 1 year. I bought my phone for a lot of money. will never buy Xiaomi again
Vivek Das, 23 Oct 20232 years and running. Not a single problem till date. Not a heavy gamer.Same here, 2+ years, but i'm a heavy gamer and phone works like a charm
If the phone purchased with people's hard money gets damaged, dated or has problems through an update.
So what is the need to buy a phone?
Most of the companies are taking money out of the pockets of the helpless people with their scams called updates.
So I have a small advice or request to them.
A phone company spends a lot of time building its reputation. But some weak points of that company are enough to destroy it. So if you don't come back from this place called update, there were many reputed mobile companies in the world who are lost today or maybe we will see you one day in their ranks which we never expect. Thank you for giving me the opportunity to present my valuable speech to you.
After two years of my phone working perfectly it died with no warning, battery started to go fast and then just wouldnt charge. I am understanding that others have had the same problem and then I read on that the last update caused these problems! "Service center confirmed that its motherboard issue. And faulty updates are responsible for it. Poco company is responsible the loss of customers"
So now not sure which phone to go for? What have others bought? I am not a lover of the xiaomi redmi phones, they are great for my kids though.
Advice please?
The phone still good with me, im not using it for 24/7 gaming, and still good. BUT the battery isn't as good as first use, it's still ok but not the same. Today 17 Oct. 2023.
For everyone who's looking for a good but cheap performance phone, don't buy this phone. My poco x3 pro, after 2 years and of using, just went died yesterday. No bugs or whatever, the phone suddenly died. I brought my phone to my trusted phone service and they said my phone got a motherboard problem, just like those who experienced it before. They said they can try to fix it but with having a risk that it gonna fail thus would lead the phone completely died. What a shame for this phone, but well what can you expect? A good performance phone comes with a cheap price but you can't expect it build quality to be good too. Truly shame, i pretty much lost a lot of my data because of this. Once again, don't buy the phone's of POCO/Xiaomi nor recommend this brand to others who's looking for a new phone. You will regret it.
After replacing the motherboard, my phone worked for 15 days before going dead on the 16th. So, if you believe that after replacing the motherboard, the phone would operate properly, you are mistaken.
Many people have reported about the same issue even after the motherboard replacement( Motherboard is costing 9,999 INR) so we can say that a big scam is going on with the Poco X3 series.
Brief: Global Version died less than 1 year and 4 month. Froze and didn't reboot.
DON'T BUY ANY PHONE FROM POCO, TRUST ME.
Hey Everyone or Future buyers. My phone died yesterday 16/10/2023. All was good, I took care of it like a baby, and by just being on a call and just opening Instagram, it got stuck, froze and switch off. I'm very disappointed and reading all the comments seems like this phone was bound to died. I only curse POCO company, they will fall. I save all my work money for a long term use phone but it died and the way it died doesn't make sense.
If only I read all the reviews here but sadly, its too late. For those planning to buy a POCO phone, please don't even how much the specs are good and I fell for it, seems like those bastard are using cheap electronics boards that why the phone mobo died.
To my friends that have been a victim of it, let's all curse this company downfall.
I'm never buying a Chinese phone again.
