If Nokia 3110 is a legend, so is POCO F1. For a phone punching well above its weight, it has served me well over the years. Still going strong, still taking brilliant photos and videos thanks to Gcam while excelling in COD Mobile with no hiccups. Only had to replace the battery once. Passing it on to my kid to get a 5G set now. Forever in my heart
brorespeta, 03 Jun 2025My poco f1 just passed away after 5 years of usage, definitely i'll miss this phone, it w... moreMine is still working since 2019. I replaced the battery once in 2023 at the end of the year. And I changed the firmware to a newer, custom one. At first I used Android 13, now I have set it to 14. The screen brightness is not enough in the sun, if you use the smartphone outside. But it still works well, even though it is only a 64 GB version. What is really missing now among modern models is the presence of microSD memory cards, and even more so of such small sizes. Compact smartphones are very expensive.
My poco f1 just passed away after 5 years of usage, definitely i'll miss this phone, it worked excellent all the time, my longest phone ever.
Just came here to announce the retirement of these phenomenal phone. After almost 7 years battery is getting weak and asking for retire. Well serve, my longest lasting phone ever.
one of the best phone I've ever had its a budget phone killer 6 years of usage and still good
sd 845 outdated, antutu v10 only 400k same with crappy helio g99. nowadays cheap phone come with much better soc like 6gen1, dimensity 6300, dimensity 7300. Poco
The phone that launched back in 2018 as a budget killer is still going strong with me in 2025. Flashed with a custom ROM and upgraded with a new battery — it's still delivering beast-level performance.
Haven’t seen another phone from Xiaomi since then that offers this much freedom, power, and value.
🔧 Custom ROM + New Battery = New Life
🔥 SD 845 still isn’t outdated
❤️🔥 Respect to the Legend – #PocoF1
Phone is working fine.. but last week a black spot appeared at the bottom corner and it seems to be increasing (at very slow rate now). Unless it sticks to that corner i dont think i need to change the phone (except that it lacks 5G & that something i may want in future) ... changed battery and SIM container once ...
If anybody knows how to wipe tht black spot or how much it will cost (india) to repair/chaneg the screen, pls let me know..
The phone was released during the PUBG game which was popular at the time, a few days before the release I bought a Sharp Z2 model phone, and because of that I couldn't buy this phone.. and having a Sharp Z2, it's really a useless phone.. even if I don't have this phone it still gives me memories

Hi! i have been using poco f1 from 2019, I'm absolutely thrilled with their performance and longevity. It was the most affordable phone in 2018 of Snapdragon 845 chip, i still using this in 2025 and it still running smoothly after 6 years, holy crap, i bow down to poco company.
Poco f1 is a legend.
This phone phonemnal and the best there is in 2018
I dont have any problem with this King
Even word cant describe it
Still an amazing phone despite almost being 7 years. Can still run some games like Wuthering Waves as long as you just play casually, of course with custom rom. All these years i only need Battery and Screen replacement. Hell, i can even install Max Pro M1 battery to Poco F1 neatly for juicy 5000 mAh capacity lol.

Replaced the battery and did a factory reset. It's running fast and smooth. This phone really is a true legend.

you know people can hack you through nfc right? there is a reason the cards that block ... moreThis is about convenient and time saving old man.
NFC is not just about payment, it can be used to reload payment card as well.
I know, for some country, it is almost redundant since you can do the same at many store, but on some country, it simply isn't.
Since smartphone NFC can be turned on and off, this has added security than the said wave payment card.
NFC definitely is a good to have feature.

They are good about getting spec info in detail, but never accurate about battery health as far as I can see (especially if you are using fast charger).
