Xiaomi Redmi Android Rumors

One of the most anticipated low-end smartphones from Xiaomi is supposed to see its release sometime next month, with no information on the actual date. 91mobiles got the most important specs ahead of launch, though, along with the Indian pricing.

Xiaomi Redmi 11 5G is expected to feature a 6.58-inch FHD+ LCD panel, supporting 90Hz refresh rate. A MediaTek Dimensity 700 chipset will run the show coupled with at least 4GB of RAM and 64GB of expandable storage via a microSD card slot.

The camera configuration is also known- 50MP sensor will be aided by a 2MP sensor on the back but it's unknown whether this is a macro shooter or just a depth sensor. The front will house a 5MP selfie camera. All of that hardware will run on a 5,000 mAh battery supporting 18W charging.

Word on the street is that the Redmi 11 5G will ask INR 13,999 ($180) for the base 4GB/64GB version. If the report turns out to be accurate, we can expect a solid upgrade over the Redmi 10.

Any news on it's release date? I like the note 11 but am hesitating due to it's screen being smaller.

They've always done that in their budget category since they don't have any strong competition at that price range the Redmi A up to the Redmi Series even has downgraded their lineup. I remember the Redmi 5 being stronger than a Redmi...

Chip isn't the issue here, Dimensity 700 isn't bad for the price, it's actually pretty good. The problem is that this phone is completely 100% pointless, because it already exists under the name Redmi 10 5G which is the same as the eve...
