Overral, I been using this phone for 1 year and it's pretty good for daily use but not very good when you travel a lot like me, cause it has no NFC,the battery somehow run out very quick even though I literally turn on the "battery saver" for literally 24/7 and never turning it off (probably because the screen is already FHD+), and it somehow overheated a lot, so in many case I have to do wait a little before I can take a picture, in which suck cause the good moment would probably already pass by before I can take it, and remember, I didn't play any game, I don't even have 1, I only use this phone to take photo/video, do my school work and scrolling social media and it still manage to overheated and the Battery still manage to runs out very quickly
So overral,If I have to rate it, it's 7,5/10, it's a pretty good all-rounder phone
(Cool fact: the reason I buy this phone, cause this phone won the phone of the month at it's price at the first month of 2023 at my country, and then after I buy it, it somehow still managed to stay at top 1 until the end of year, which means, this phone somehow managed to be the top 1 for 12 month, in which make it phone of the year at it's price)

Mine got a cpu problem just after One and half month , it doesn't charge the battery but shows charging.
It's unofficial btw though it was completely new .

This phone seems to have a fundamental problem, ie it is unable to provide persistent notifications on lock screen. This used to be a flashing LED on all the phones I have owned in the past, but despite making all the necessary settings changes it just stays inactive.
Not a good idea if you stepped away from the phone and you missed a call. The phone will indicate nothing until you unlock. Does that mean I have to check my Redmi 12 every couple of minutes for texts or other notifications while on lock screen.
I don't recommend this phone.

I have been using Redmi 12 around 1 year nice phone but battery life is not good need some change in setting to optimize

I'm looking for a clean Android phone, no unecessary aps or bloat ware. Redmi has a lot of unwanted apps taking up storage. Nokia is clean but low spec

It's an "ok" phone, not the best. I have been using it, the experience is not great. It lags on basic tasks like when switching between applications (multitasking). Now I am using the Redmi note 13 pro plus, which is like 100x better. My opinion is, if you open serval applications and use heavy applications (like games) Redmi 12 is NOT a good option, however if ur just gonna call or use social media is great but battery isn't and not gonna lie, it even lags in Instagram sometimes. Talking about the price though u can't argue, its great for the price. Also, Redmi 12 DO NOT have ALL THE HYPEROS features like the new control panel or simple actions like hiding text of icons in your homescreen.
