Got my redmi today..
i am so impressive with the style.
just for checking i switched on and used for sometime. it is so awesome. camera quality is really superb. front camera also. touch is so smooth. tower and 3g data speed is so good. interface is very cool. display also looks nice. as i said before to get good battery life, have switched off and put in charge for 8 hrs (atleast 6hrs). i am so eager to use it tonight. will give my further reviews tomo. (i dont have enough technical knowledge about smartphones, but will give review somewhat in the manner i knew. pls bear with me)
Recently got Xiaomi Redmi 1s from 2nd Sept Sale - Here is my review on the phone.
DISPLAY --- Redmi 1s comes with the large 4.7” HD screen along with the resolution of 720p along with the IPS LCD and Gorilla Glass 2 shield with a PPI of WHOPPING 312. While Moto E comes with 4.3” qHD Display with 540p resolution and a PPI of 256, Asus Zenfone 4 comes with 4.5” Display, 480p resolution and 218PPI of display.
PROCESSOR --- With a jaw dropping Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 Quad Core processor clocked at 1.6GHz in Redmi 1S, processing capabilities of Moto E and Asus Zenfone 4 are not even worth comparing as it only comes with the Dual core processors from Qualcomm and Intel respectively.
CAMERA --- Redmi 1S comes with the 8MP of rear facing camera with 1.3MP of front facing camera. Moto E comes with mere 5MP of rear facing camera and NO front facing camera while Asus Zenfone 4 comes with 8MP of front facing camera and 0.3MP of front facing camera. Overall, Redmi 1S comes with better front and rear camera capabilities when compared with the poor Moto E and Asus Zenfone 4.
BATTERY -- Redmi 1s boasts huge 2000mAH of battery power which promises to last longer than others. Asus Zenfone 4 comes with 1980mAH of battery power while Moto E comes with the 1750mAH of battery power. Clearly, with optimized processor and OS, XiaoMi Redmi 1S lasts longer than others.
RAM AND STORAGE --- Redmi 1S, Zenfone 4 and Moto E comes with the same RAM of 1GB. Redmi 1S, Zenfone 4 come with the internal storage of 8GB each, Moto E comes with the 4GB of internal memory.
NEGATIVE OF XIAOMI REDMI 1S --- Just like all other smartphones, Redmi 1S too comes with some negatives which we can live with which are weight and OS. Redmi 1S comes with the 158 grams of weight along with the Jellybean 4.3 Android OS. XiaoMi promised that it will be getting the MIUI 6 of the KITKAT 4.4 upgrade by end of this year.

in box charger user guide removable battery.. usb cable is detachable from charger..headset is missing but considering price that's not a problem. more hands on experience comming soon :)
hey guys the phone is very good as per specs and more on price and i am great fan of miui but it seems battery backup is very poor if it is so then i am gonna cancel my order and can wait for mi3.
because according to me if any phone is not having good battery backup then it is useless to own even in less than 2k despite offering a lots of features since i have experience with poor battery backup phones earlier.
So please share your review who has been using this for couple of days. thanks
