Anonymous, 19 Oct 2016How to get supported Jio 4G sim in Redmi 1S ?It will not support anything related to 4g connectivity, including volte.
It has absolutely no 4g connectivity options.no software update can help.
It's a 2 years old system and its nearing its end. Don't keep hopes on this handset anymore. It's a wonderful handset, but now more capable handsets are available.
Kamakshi Subramanian, 19 Oct 2016I am thinking of buying this....is there language Change facilities.....like I want everything... moreThis is obsolete. In same price range you get redmi's current offerings from its 3rd generation. Better buy it's latest offerings ,which have same price tag.
Redmi disappoints , 20 Sep 2016Only 8 GB internal storage! Wake up people. Absolutely not worth the money. The apps can't be ... moreBuddy better you wake up.
It's a 2 years old phone and now it's out of production too. You are comparing it with current generationbif handsets. Are you asleep?
But it has been a great performer in case if ever you have used it.

abhi, 07 Sep 2016I am using MIUI 8 without any issues.. performance increased after update...Does it supperts 4g sim??
Same thing here regarding the turning off by itself and getting hot issue. By the time I was able to switch it on, the battery would have drained already. Until now, I still don't get why? It even got stuck at fastboot mode until 0% once and the fact that the battery is removable really saved the day. I got myself a 6s plus as my main phone now to compensate lol. The MI user interface is great though.
omkar , 24 Sep 2016after using 5-10 min it became hot slowly & finally switch off itself Same here with my device.. become hot and switch off it self.. even in standby mode with 84% battery, can drain and become hot..
Redmi disappoints , 20 Sep 2016Only 8 GB internal storage! Wake up people. Absolutely not worth the money. The apps can't be ... moreDid you notice what year the phone released? 2014.at that time, 1gb RAM and 8gb internal storage is more than enough
8gb storage is enough, my girlfriend has one, and photos can be save in the sdcard . as well as the application . so its worth buying and the performance is good ..
Only 8 GB internal storage! Wake up people. Absolutely not worth the money. The apps can't be transferred to the external storage. If you want extra storage you need to buy it from the makers. You will run out of space once you take photos and install a handfull of apps. Then you'll regret having bought this device. Though you have 64gb external memory, sometimes you can't even transfer the photos by copying or cutting it. So you are stuck with the photos in the internal memory. The only way to transfer it - is to connect it with the PC. Like it was done in the 'good old days.' What's the point in having a 64gb card when you can;t transfer the files internally?! This is the major drawback. So if you are a 'appy' person, who also indulges in a lot of selfies and groupies, you'd soon get frustrated with this ridiculously outdated device and its 8gb storage option. (BTW forget about gaming.)
