Sisir, 15 Oct 2015Frnd this mobile Redmi 2 Prime getting heated very badly.Hi friend just remove the .mkv files from your internal memory and SD card (if u inserted).there is a media server bug which cause to find continuously and uses the all cores of processor all the times which result in high temperature even you are not using phone.

The phone is just awesome at this price segment. If you are a gaming fan but with low budget then you should go with this. If you are a music lover then also you should buy it. And the New Xiaomi MIUI is just brilliantly good.

Guys, i'm very disappointed to buy a Xiaomi Redmi 2 Prime today .. i ordered on 12th of oct and received today was faulty . It had a hardware issues. But when called to Xiaomi customer care executive Shikha argued an hour for nothing but when i asked to talk with her senior at first she denied but later her senior assistant manager Yogita talked very harsh n insulted me coz i wanted a replacement ..at 1st they refused to replace the faulty cell phone but later when i reminded the clauses given then she talked a little but mostly she didn't responded properly ... i'm very much depressed after buying the product from here .. frnz these people dont' know how to talk

Quite an awesome phone at 7k, Current price on amazon.in is 6.5k
Though the features are awesome, the MIUI 7 is not yet released for this phone even after being released for the older version i.e Redmi 1S. Lots of pros to speak about. Consider it a best buy at this price and just go for it. The phone charges so fast.
Let me tell the cons i experienced,
1) Battery drains a bit faster compared to my old moto e
2) The one handed mode works only on Home screen. i.e, you can activate it only by navigating to home screen.
3) Keeps asking you to login to MI cloud everytime you reinsert sim. Well I don't want my personal photos leaked over the internet. Thank you.
4) The space taken by the digital clock on the home screen is huge. say, it takes 4 blocks of space to display, additional four blocks of space is consumed even though there's nothing to display there.
5) Most importantly, they don't provide you earphones :( Like, come on !!! The cheap 1.5k Nokia phones provide a basic earphone with it ...
I will update more as I use the phone.
My suggestion, just buy it if you are on a 7k budget.

the phone is very good n there is no heating problem so value to money in just 7k ₹
most of problems gets solved by restarting the mobile.
