They offer good specs, but once the phone runs into problems then you have no where to go. They have more to do as far as service is concerned compared to tier one brands.. Even my redmi 1s mother board failed and it is in service centre for 106 days.

phone is good i bought last month . i loved it very much and i was very exicited in seeing all the options. but all off sudden display was not functioning i was very upset . i was struggling lot for the past ten days . please guide me any one to replace or correct my phone.

Its the best optimized UI i have ever seen on the MI devices, its very fast, smooth, i bet you would not have seen any UI faster than this.Moreover, hardware of the device is also good, rear camera provides the best picture in this price segment phones.No heating issues at all.
Heavy gaming may heat a bit but it would make phone warm not hot.Battery is about 1 and a half day with normal use.and 1 full day with heavy useage .

I want to buy mi2 prime some user opinion read that battery will be dried soon and display will gone soon and mobile will get heavy heat while heavy use is mobile is good or not please suggest those who had buy it

its a great phone. superb value for money, performance is top notch, UI is very smooth, apps are damn fast. have been using this for 1 month now, never hung up, never slowed down even after being on for 5-6 days without reboot, camera is awesome, gets good pics even in dark conditions. some users say bad battery and heating up, i didnt face either of them. battery last 2 days( with moderate talking and screen on time like 4 hours, fulltime on 3g), rest processor, ram, gpu, memory everyone knows, what else do you need ? its a great buy, if you're thinking of it, i'll say buy it.

I bought ths phone 3 weeks before and this product is not good,in first week when i used the battery was so worst it drained soo fast.and another issue was heating,and now i face a big problem.my phone is not switch oning.it oly does the the vibration but nothing appears on the screen.and the service centre are sooo bad,they are not responding at all,so please dont bye any mobiles like this.go for a company mobiles like samsung,nokia etc

But becomes warm on doing heavy gaming. Other issues may be seen here and there and such issues should not come in the way of you buying this phone. Move ahead.

I want to ask u one more question that should I upgrade my redmi 2 prime with beta version of miui 7 or should wait for complete version to come as beta version has some bugs. And that flash roms for redmi 2 and redmi 2 prime are same or not.
