nice phone in this price group. good camera. 2gb ram is a boon. fresh miui is great. display is good with good viewing angles, 312 ppi with no pixellation occuring to an untrained eye. battery life is okay will last for a day with medium usage. signal strength is good with good call reception. customisation options is fun to personalise your phone. no bloatware as likes of samsung can virtually uninstall any apps at your discretion, even the stock apps. does not heat as one would expect for a phone of this price group. sound quality through a good pair of headphones is just awesome, even better than the much priced phones that i had.
screen is reflective to hinder viewing in good lighting conditions, nothing to worry about.

Camera image comes with a yellowish effect and with flash light it's comes more yellowish

Looks - Good and Handy
Music - Can be compared with IPOD
Display - Impressive
Camera - Average
Battery - One day back up for an mid to heavy user
Overall Performance - 800 MB of RAM is free all the time.. Processing is fast..
More than worthy for this price tag..
Yet again Xiaomi has produced a good product

Don't trust the reviewers they are fake just trust on your wit and see the previous redmi's performance you could judge better. As a customer I found it better.

Hi,
I bought 2 Redmi 2 Prime on 14 Aug.(white and Grey)
White is working Good,But Grey one having problems.
like if i lock screen from side button then it is not getting unlocked,for this you have to remove battery first then again start phone .
Ahter again when you try to lock screen then again it wont unlock .At this time if you try to call then alsoo it wont ringed nothing will display.
