Jazz, 05 Sep 2016I am having redmi prime 2 and last update is 7.2 further i didn't get the miui 7.5 update and ... moreOpen your redmi-2 Prime check out the model version i am not sure but if it is 20140818(i have this one) or higher like 20140821, it'll surely work. if it's lower, it may work(as I said I'm not sure), I'm using a jio sim fully activated with unlimited offer and it's working without any hitches. Only problem i faced was on MIUI 8 global beta ROM so i got to stable MIUI 7.5.3 and it works

Muttu , 04 Sep 2016Sir I updated my redmi mobile for Mike 7.5 but not have VOLTE feature plz helme sirWho told that redmi 2 prime note doesn't has VOLTE option ..... you have to update to 7.5.3.0 supports all JIO options.....
And works fine.....
Because am using redmi prime note 2...

Jio calling works fine in my r2p with MIUI 7 v7.5.3 but updating it to MIUI 8 global beta release v6.9.1 there comes the problem of call drops and voice freezing occasionally. Hope the stable build removes this problem.

I updated it to Android 5.1.1 LOLLIPOP & MIUI 7.5 ... morehey bro! U have downloaded updated version of MYJIO app! Download the old one and u'll get "Get Jio Sim" option ! U can check its full video on YOUTUBE!

My redmi prime 2 sometime removed sim present in slot 2.....
Is it happen because i updated the system or..that sim is 4g sim thats why it is not taking it....plzz guide me

I purchased REDMI 2 PRIME on sep,2015.
I updated it to Android 5.1.1 LOLLIPOP & MIUI 7.5 GLOBAL.
In ph setting, under 'sim cards & mobile networks' tab VoLTE is also enabled.
Still it is not showing ' GET JIO SIM' option in 'My Jio' app though i have installed all 11 reliance jio apps from Google play stor success fully.
Please help...
