Surya, 23 Mar 2016Dear friends redmi2 prime is draining and heating insanely.mediaserver and media is using 50% ... moreI was facing the same problem. I resolved it by factory resetting it.. I also came to know that my phone was not draining unless i was playing videos from xender or receiving videos from others of upgraded versions of lollipop 5.1.1.. Well redmi is of kitkat 4.4.4. So play videos from default video player otherwise face draining facality.. Lol

Plz guys anyone of u,... more1st when we buy this phone we will face so many problems like over heating and battery drains fastly .. it is only becoz its runs in miui 6 in stock condition so the media server becom 52 or above percentage.. we can easly solve this issue by upgrade it to miui7... aft that we got a nyz battery backup and over heating also can solve... about camera its superb rear and front cam give u a nyz expiriance... overall i give 5 star to this phone...

front camera 2mp, the picture i was take look good. but very bad in low light when using it on video call. Miui 7 take half of ram. free ram only +- 880mb. when i star using 2 app chat it's just 645mb left of free ram. nothing special.
