AnonD-260854, 11 Jan 2016its better if they keep 4,7 inch screen sizeIf look at the size comparison, Redmi 3 is actually only 5mm taller, 2.4mm wider, but 0.9mm thinner than Redmi 4.7". It's not really much difference.
Redmi2 : 67.2 x 9.4 x 134 mm
Redmi3 : 69.6 x 8.5 x 139.3 mm
i wish there will be prime/pro version with SD650/652, gorilla glass, real sd slot and smaller size. 5 inches too large for my hand
AnonD-402029, 11 Jan 2016I don't mind about 720p on 5" screen because I can't see huge difference between 720p and 1080... moreLook at the picture gallery! Look at the bottom of the phone. I see backlit capacitive buttons. Three of them. 😁
Snapdragon 616 is only adding 200mhz to its little architectur which is now 1.2Ghz considering it for low power consumtions.. This is not yet a powerful chipset unless redmi 3 will have 1.7 Ghz on its big architectur.. then 4000mAh battery is still not enough.. No matter how good they manage the power consumtions to this bugdet SOC . they'd still run out the battery quickly if those SOC is all active at the same time..
its very bad,..,specification is too good but...external memory card and 2nd sim slot sem thats very bad for users so if company wants to best success then got it for best
Too big. I don't like my Mi4 really because that is too big as well, It is not comfortable to hold it. The 8mm thickness is fine for the 4100 mAh battery but its almost 70 mm width is far too wide.
AnonD-476358, 11 Jan 2016Disappointed to see they use same slot for 2nd sim & micro sd. And expected infrared also.I also disappointed yar.

Combine those 720p res, 5 inch and 4100mAh battery, I'm really looking forward to the endurance rating test of this phone:)
I don't mind about 720p on 5" screen because I can't see huge difference between 720p and 1080p on 5" screen, but seems like backlit capacitive buttons is absent on this phone, which I really mind. Note that backlit capacitive buttons is a matter of personal preference, but I prefer smartphone with backlit capacitive buttons :)
p/s: I own Redmi Note 2
Shashi, 11 Jan 2016Redmi note 3 Resolution :1080 x 1920 pixels (~403 ppi pixel density) is good but Redmi 3 Re... moredon't worry the next xiaomi redmi 3 enhance edition/ prime will come with full HD display....believe me
Metal body is really good,
But Xiaomi's service centre is not enough in India,so phone is good but services is very bad #
I have nearest service centre 589km.
Why we buy it?
Why I'm not buying Lenovo s smartphone!
Specification is good in this price.
Im willing to pay the same price or more if they shrunk the exact spec of the redmi note3 into this size. If they still use the 720res then should keep the 4.7" and make it even compact. I still will buy it once available though. Super value phone.
Redmi note 3 Resolution :1080 x 1920 pixels (~403 ppi pixel density) is good
but Redmi 3 Resolution is 720 x 1280 pixels (~294 ppi pixel density) not enough.....
