uninstall youtube and install this exact version : youtube revanced extended for android 6 7 in parallele mith microG to use account ,and in settings of the application from RVX setting just use this good hack by changing the version to 19.01.35 for example and it works, but if you quit the application you have to redo the hack or just seve settings and load every time the app is reloaded

I'm still using it in 2025 as a secondary device (Android 14 - LineageOS) - battery health seems to be at 84% even from 2017 with the factory one. Excellent job to Xiaomi for the quality of their batteries.

This will allow you to use YouTube on your browser. It doesn't work coz it's redirecting you to the app that doesn't work

So disappointing.Yeah dude, I was shocked when I saw the YouTube app was no longer going to support Android 7, and the minimum at least is Android 8 or better, but you can still install apps, and the Play Store is still working really fine, but the only problem is that you can't watch videos, and even the YouTube app is saying, Go watch YouTube on your web browser. I tried Google and Chrome, but they didn't load YouTube; they just opened the app, I think, so we Redmi 4 users have only 2 options: 1. Download apps like TikTok, Facebook, or Instagram, for entertaintment or 2. root some custom ROM. I HOPE THIS WAS HELPFUL THX RIP ANROID 7 NOUGHT.
