Has solid design(possibly the best), handles games without issue, on par camera performance with most budget phones. Redmi note 3 has sd 650 but also needs atleast 4gb ram to fully utilize it's capability.

Can anyone tell me the release date in India Xiaomi redmi 4 Prime i am waiting to buy pls tell me the correct date
I just ordered the phone a couple of days ago. The built is great, although it feels slippery. The camera can record videos in 4K at 30 FPS with HDR and stereo sound on using Open Camera, as the stock camera can only shoot at 1080p. The main reason for not enabling the 4k option might be the huge size of the files, as a 2:30 minutes video is around 800 MB large.
Otherwise, MIUI is a mixed bag and a matter of taste. The phone is a great buy, as it feels snappy all around and it looks great. Love it.
avenger, 04 Jan 2017this phone not good, the wifi is slow like g3, is supusted comes with g4, to down load an app,... moremaybe it is not Xiaomi Redmi 4 Pro, that you are talking about? Owning this phone for 2 weeks already - almost a perfect phone!
ralf, 04 Jan 2017is it good for gaming?Yes, but ram management is bad
Perfect for its price.
Bought the phone at the end of December and have been using it since 2 weeks now. The build quality and design are flawless. Premium feel from the first touch. I really like the metal unibody design. However, it is quite slippery if you have dry hands or have a glove on - so be careful.
The battery life is great, the phone easily lasts for 2 days.
The camera is good, not extraordinary. Call quality is very good. MUI 8 offers an easy and quick way to install beautiful themes.
The Snapdragon chipset is fast and the phone performance is great. I'm not using it for gaming so cannot really tell about game performance, but looking at the numerous reviews on youtube it seems that the phone does well on this field too.
So my overall verdict: this is a great phone for its amazingly cheap price!
