For ALL people who reads this comment:
please don't be fooled by ANY of the NASTY rumors about Helio X20, especially from 'opinions' or 'proves' on youtube before GSMArena does a review or hands-on on Redmi Note 4.
Xiaomi as a Chinese manufacturer's company is a SMART & CREATIVE company, unlike Lenovo or other Chinese company.
SMART: Xiaomi uses only the 'good' to 'great' SoC when manufacturing their devices. When MediaTek release Helio P10, Xiaomi still use Helio X10 for Redmi Note 3 because of P10 'bad' performance as mid-end chipsets.
CREATIVE: When they choose to use SD810, Xiaomi made Mi Note Pro feels 'cooler' than any other SD810-powered devices because they add 'tricks' to make SD810 heat 'less' in Mi Note Pro than any other BIG BRAND devices. Therefore, EVEN IF REDMI NOTE 4 have heat problem like Mi Note Pro did, I beieved Xiaomi will add 'tricks' to make it heat less, as Redmi Note line are their 'flagship' cheap phone, unlike Redmi which have similar demography as Android One phones: cheap, but decent.
i'm eagerly waiting for this phone to release in india.........just release it quick plzz.....

while 650/2 are using adreno 510. in CPU for sure X20 will be 'faster', but in GPU for sure 510 better than t880 mp4.
panciutang, 12 Sep 2016rednote 4 helio x20 lag for heavy game. much better snapdragon 650 or 652. I hope red note 4 p... moreOMG, here we got another one who have some screws loose on his head, which blindly believed Qualcomm's SD652/650 are BETTER than Helio X20...
Here is the fact: Mali T880 is ARM's FLAGSHIP GPU solutions which is made to compete the GPU performance of ADRENO 530 in SD820 and PowerVR GX6450 in A8 Apple IPhone chipsets. Albeit Mediatek only equipped Helio X20 with 4cores Mali T880 (samsung in their exynos 8890 uses 12coresMali T880), the GPU still have SOLID performance, and can play several heavy Android games with ease.
NOW, in other hand we have Adreno 510 equipped in SD652/650. FYI, Adreno 510 is '40% off' version of Adreno 530, with additional feature cut here and there. THEREFORE, it is clear that Mali T880 mp4 in Helio X20 won over Adreno 510 in every aspects.
p.s. I googled about Mali T880 mp4 performance over other competitors, and found this:
Albeit different SoC, the GPU equipped is the same, therefore can become a valid resource to 'fix' the few screws left on ur head...
Anonymous, 11 Sep 2016but the sd625 is build on 14nm process but performance the mediatek p20 is much better lol, I don't know about Helio P10 as many says it's a failure as its cpu tends to lags, moreover MediaTek equip P10 with Mali T860 2core, not T880 4 core like they did to Helio X20, therefore the overall performance is said to be worse than MT6753, which have GOOD cpu performance, but equipped with SUCKS Mali T720 3core. So, the only GOOD MediaTek SoC as far as i know is:
-) MT6732 (cheap low-end SoC with GOOD 4core Cortex A53 clocked @1.5GHz + GREAT Mali T760 2core clocked @500MHz, slighty lower than the ones in MT6752)
-) MT6752 (cheap mid-end SoC with GREAT 8core Cortex A53 clocked @1.7GHz + GREAT Mali T760 2core clocked @700MHz, GREAT SD alternative which WIDELY used by BIG BRANDS Android phone manufacturers, such as Lenovo, Sony, HTC, Vivo, Alcatel, and Meizu)
-) MT6795 Helio X10 (cheap upper mid-end with GREAT 8core Cortex A53 clocked @2Ghz + MEDIOCRE PowerVR G6200 clocked @700MHz; athough mediocre, the gpu still holds its own when compared to SD's Adreno 405 and below used in SD615, therefore made this chipsets a 'hype' in Android phone manufacturers, especially the BIG BRANDS, such as Sony, HTC, Archos, LeEco, Xiaomi, Meizu, and Infinix)
-) MT6797 Helio X20 (cheap(er than SD652) upper mid-end 'flagship' SoC which packs 2core powerhouse Cortex A72 @2.3GHz + 4core Cortex A53 @2GHz + 4core Cortex A53 @1.4GHz, equipped with 'state-of-the-art' Mali T880 4core clocked @780MHz, made this POWERFUL SoC placed between the 'expensive' SD652 and the 'more expensive' SD820 lite in terms of RAW cpu performance & GPU rendering, as Mali T880, even just 4core, can outrun Adreno 510 performance in both gaming & rendering; unfortunately, rumors said that this processor have 'heating' problem, which is still unclear as the only devices I heard getting a hands-on are Zopo Speed 8, and Meizu MX6; let's just wait for Xiaomi Redmi Pro and Redmi Note 4 getting a throughout review by GSMArena before foulmouthing this cheap powerhouse chipset) furthermore.
-What could be the price?
-Does xiaomi phones are good in data connectivity esp this phone?
-And also does the gps accurate?
Anonymous, 11 Sep 2016redmi note 4 processer is much more powerful its a flagship processer ! rednote 4 helio x20 lag for heavy game. much better snapdragon 650 or 652. I hope red note 4 pro use snap 652. and I see the comment of redmi note 4 it will release next months. n I glad to hear that.
AnonD-564674, 11 Sep 2016the 'best' Redmi series so far.... 5.0' screen size with 1080p. Finally, a Redmi with 1080p... morebut the sd625 is build on 14nm process but performance the mediatek p20 is much better
experience phone, 10 Sep 2016actually I want to buy redmi note 4 but the processor follow me to buy redmi 4.redmi note 4 processer is much more powerful its a flagship processer !
the 'best' Redmi series so far....
5.0' screen size with 1080p. Finally, a Redmi with 1080p! Athough the screen size unchanged from Redmi 3, but the next Redmi 4 pro OR Redmi 5 could be better if Xiaomi upped it to 5.5'.
A good call to use the new SD625 instead of another CRAP of SD 615/616/617. The bad call of using this chipset is the low-performance Adreno 506. For lower mid-end chipset, Qualcomm sure kills their chipsets graphic performance by using a crap GPU. FYI, Adreno 510 in SD650/652 is beaten by Mali T880 MP4 in Helio X20, a cheap-yet-GREAT mid-end 'flagship' chipset by Mediatek, therefore Adreno 506 is OBVIOUSLY below what Adreno 510 can do. This makes this chipset the 'second coming of Helio X10'; a 8core Cortex A53 overclocked to 2.0 GHz, having GOOD raw power while still maintain its energy saving, yet equipped with under-archiver GPU, which makes this chipsets a 'hype' when it first introduced, then slowly died.
So, will Qualcomm get to experienced the same 'fate' as MediaTek did with their Helio X10? I sure as hell believed so...
