I bought this phone second-hand around the late 2020s as a budget for school use, and I handed it down to my sister in 2022. It got broken in 2025, my sister accidentally dropped it with no case, but still, that phone is reliable, and it was second-hand. It lasted longer, Xiaomi's best budget good product can rival Samsung and the iPhone

To me to try from random people
Anyone who is a cheapskate and like cheap phone's should have a redmi phone in the collection
Brought at £30 with expectations of this price point
3RAM/32gb storage modal everything comes in the box
Build and feel the phone is made of all plastic feels like cheap plastic too Plastic is reliable
Software os is Android 8
Is all in English
The modal i have is from aliexpress
Unlike what people say i hasn't experience any ads
But i have experience frustration with sideloading apps
Xiaomi security take's a longtime scanning ever app
Software is a little buggy sometimes app don't work i have struggle to get them to work
Screen picture is good and res good too 720p is fine on phone screen
Performance is mostly smooth some lag but
Good experience browsing the web
Android 8 suitable os
More opitimzed then you think not sluggish
Has some Chinese apps installed like tiktok temo
But as much blootware as expected
Mediatek helio a22 isn't the best soc
But is good for the low price point
Good
Performance to price ratio
Screen quality
Sound quality
Bad
App compatibility bugs
If this phone wasn't super cheap i be unhappy
About the software
Buy or not i recommend buy winner budget phone good choice worth the money

My first Phone🤣 I bought it in April 2019 and after 3 months it immediately broke, I broke it because I lost playing Free Fire🗿🙏 I switched to Realme C2, and slammed it again😭 screen repair cost $24.72 Until now I have switched again to the middle class Infinix Note 40. Hopefully next year I will buy an IQoo 13, I hope🗿
