As expected MIUI 12 is scheduled for Redmi7A.
It's a good news. Just that when it would happen is something that will be announced soon.

2 years ago I used Redmi 4A so far no problem. yesterday bought the Redmi 7A for US80. It is more comfortable with a large battery lasting 2 days before 4A..1 days. I use 2 sim and sd card. Xiaomi affordable price is quality and very satisfied

The phone works great...It can compare with some brand of 4GB ram in terms of speed/processor..

Disgusting phone. Has a Snapdragon 439 processor, which is a 64 bit processor, but the phone is 32 bit for god knows what reason. This means that 40% of the apps on the play store do not support this phone. Disgusting.

Do you know how to update phone?
This one recieved Miui 11 in Jan and it is scheduled to receive Miui 12 soon.
It's a great phone for the price. I am using as my work phone with tasks like - calls,emails,messages, video calls and conferences, using it as a hotspot for my laptop, editing and commenting on documents etc.without any issues.
End of the day it all depends on smartness of the user.

Shame on those saying that this is a shit phone compare wise to other brands that has same specs having SNP 439, vivo's y11, samsung a10s, infinix hot8 meh all they had was a fingerprint. Who cares about fingerprint I can live with pattern lock. This is much better than the others, specs and much cheaper in fact I can even buy it in Lazada for about 50 dollars not even 1 year had past for this phone. WP Xiaomi.

Android is a joke. This phone has Android 9, 2GB of ram, and a snapdragon 439 which is a 64 bit processor, yet this phone doesn't support any 64 bit apps. After just one year, it's not supported with updates anymore. Just get an iphone for 100$ instead.

quite good for the price. I am a bit disappointed about the missing of wifi dual band. no 5ghz. it's a pity.
