Camera is not good but according to price others features are great like battery etc I love it I wish it had green color as well now I have blue one

My Redmi 8 rear camera was f/2.2 not f/... moreI was also disapointed after i figure out that my Redmi 8 global version (3 GB RAM and 32 GB memory, blue) has a f/2.2 camera sensor. I made some research and i discovered it has Omnivision OV13B10 sensor with f/2.2, not the Sony IMX 363 with f/1.8. So, the camera is not so good as we expected.

Camera problem, not the Sony IMX363 - f1.8 sensor, it has OmniVision OV13B10 with f2.2. I have the model with 3 GB Ram and 32 GB Storage (code M1908C3IG). I don't know if every model has this problem but you can test it: take a picture and go to details, exif and if you see f2.2 then you got the wrong camera sensor. I didn't find this information nowhere over the Internet, until i bought the phone and tested myself. I saw the "f2.2" that was suspicious, i searched more and more and finally i discovered the camera sensor: go to device info, kernel version, touch the kernel version 3 or 4 times and enter CIT, then you see all device infomations. And there's the back camera sensor info.
