Great phone,great battery life (I go 2 days and still have 30%), great price and excellent feeling in hand. Contray to what is said in other comments it is possible to root it (but why?) and reception is okay after last update.

It's a nice experience using redmi 8. But i have been facing a problem. It's an irritating one. Whenever I open an app like MX player, music,or any other games , even flipcart amazon, there is a little sound coming from speaker. Not a lot sound. When you open FM a sound comes, that sound is coming from the speaker. It's irritating.... As time goes on its getting more louder..... Any suggesion??

Have been using this phone for about one month. Some comments:
1. Battery is good, can last up to one and the half day.
2. Not recommended for game because the reception is poor(up and down)
3. Front screen glass is excellent. NO NEED screen protector, I bought one before, applied it and it scratched. Remove it, it is smooth as silk.
4. Reception is poor.

If you are not a demanding gamer, this is the best phone you can buy. Awesome battery!!! I play pes cm and it performs well.
