How do i record phone calls on this phone

azureen1, 31 Jan 2020Does the phone have the option to record calls?Hey brother, no they changed their mi dialer to google dialer and thats really frustrating! no more auto call recording..
But if you contact them or write feedback to them about this issue.. they may help us by bringing back that mi dialer or auto call recording.. so please do this and lets hope for the best ...
if more users post this issue, they will soon fix it...

Well recently bought this device just a weak ago, now let me post some honest review...
First of all its back main camera is not as expected even my previous device (Redmi 4x) has much better sharpening and low light focus than this rubbish focus along with overall picture quality and just forget about night quality even the camera lags while taking any photo indoor or at night..... front camera is not bad though, seems fine as to the price...
Now lets talk about the processor,cpu (sd 439)
Games under 100mb works fine lol but when you play a little bit high graphics game on high settings the phone stutters and keep stuttering so for high end games it aint the right choice..!
But if you use facebook,whatsapp,youtube,insta and even 20+ apps altogether it works fine no lag or any kind of mobile sttuter may be thats because of 4gb ram....
Now battery ofcourse 5000mah,its too good, a little bit heavy but fine!
It comes with front gorilla glass 5 so really solid screen...
Type-C hmmm +1 !!
So if you dont wanna play games, need a decent camera+long battery life,type-c,solid screen
I think its the best in budget..... But remember camera is not that good... Focus is garbage :/
And yeah Redmi has replaced mi dialer with google dialer so auto call recording is no more and thats really frustrating...
Realme 5 looks good overall except type-c but thats really not a big issue! Looking forward to realme now :(

Been on flagship phones for as long as there has been smartphones, more or less, but got this (4/64GB version at 25% off for demo unit)as a stopgap phone and must say I'm pleasantly surprised about how decent a phone in this price range is nowadays.

Sat, 27 Jan 2020Redmi 8 of mine blacksout, how to find solutionUse the warranty.. or otherwise.. charge it first then do the reformat.. be sure it's turned off.. power on your device by press and hold the upper volume and power on at the same time.. or lower volume and power bottom at the same time. The follow the instructions on screen. Just click Yes... Reminder.. all the data and files are automatically deleted but your phone will looks as good as new like when you buy it.. tenx

I've bought blue one. Everything works fine. Looks good. Battery life is great. Performance is good. Only camera isn't good. But worth it. If you don't use camera too much go for it.
