I think the phone is fairly alright. Stop whining , you get what for you paid for. Don’t expect to buy a Toyota and wants it to run just like a Ferrari.

Anonymous, 09 Jan 2020Well, is not almost, with charger that came in the box 2a, from 0 to 100% it takes around 2:50... moreI have charged redmi 8 with both fast 18watt & normal 10 watt charger but there is no special difference.during fast charging it shows icon for that but something like 22 percent in 30 minutes.....
If it is fast charging compatible then atleast 1 percent charge for 1 minute of time but infact it is not

From the specification of Redmi 8, it is stated that the phone supports FAS... moreyour 10watt charge is good enough... no need fast charging because the outcome is the same.. The battery endurance ia good enough, no need to fast charge as it can last almost one full day with heavy use. Not recommended for heavy games or main phone.

It has more sound than portable speaker that i bought for my father.
Weird how loud this phone is. Just updated to new version, so i will write if there will be any issues

From the specification of Redmi 8, it is stated that the phone supports FAS... moreWell, is not almost, with charger that came in the box 2a, from 0 to 100% it takes around 2:50h, because, after 90% od battery, charges slower, like any 'fast' charge, so if with 18w =3a, battery goes from 0-100% in 2:20h its a good result, after all, battery is 5000mAh

From the specification of Redmi 8, it is stated that the phone supports FAST CHARGING.
However, I noticed that it took the Romoss 18W Charger 2hours and anove to charge the battery from 10% to 100%. Almost the time with the 10W charger the phone came with
I want to know if this is normal??

I was bought this phone redmi 8 on dated 01-12-2019
At the time of purchase this phone I was very excited
But we did not know that we are buying a third class phone.
From next day we are facing hanging issue in this phone and till date I have visit almost 5 times in service center for the same issue but he is unable to rectify this issue.
And service center is not familiar for customers
So pl do not buy this brand mobiles. All products are very third class quality.
We suggest to every one go for vivo /oppo / moto.
