Xiaomi Redmi 8 - user opinions and reviews

Previously I used redmi 8A and sold it. It was energy efficient phone I regret selling it. It lasted 5 days for average use when wife, hotspot and data were off. At the moment I have redmi 9 and redmi note 9T and these phones consume much power because they use mediated. So I wanted to sell one and buy poco m3 but the phone is out of the market in my country. Now am back to Redmi 8 because I have no other option. I am asking you guys, is it energy efficient device? Does it take 5 days on moderate use? I want to buy a second hand one.

And to top things of this phone has very bad price to performance yet People still buy it for some reason.
If you want a phone that is 20 times better with everything for almost the same price just get the poco x3 nfc or poco x3 pro best phones I have used for the same price as this one that has a flagship processor and 120hz truly amazing

Stop hating it if you don't know about it because this my two years using it and have change anything on it and still neat and working fine in all areas. .

Got this phone 1.5 years ago at USD75 worth every single cent. No connectivity issues whether it's wifi, bluetooth,gps or data. Great battery backup

Redmi 8 is a great phone but can it use a 128gb SD card. I hope it won't large especially with the Miui 12.5 update

The other day my Redmi 8 got an update to miui 12.5. So far i got the feeling that ram management is much better and that my phone runs smoother. We will see after few weeks what's what. By the way i'm from Serbia.

Trash use SD 439, always turn off my WiFi, ghost touch avery time, overall it trash

My touch is not working do i have to change my entire display or will there be a separate touch panel for this phone???if i replace my screen what will happen to the gorilla glass on top of it,,will that gorilla glass also be replaced ???

I've been using this phone for almost 2 years (1 year 10 months). So far it's still running good except for the ghost touch problem. My solution for the ghost touch is I just lock the screen and unlock it back. Dropped the phone several times, I also wash the phone with water if its dirty. No problem so far. For the price, certainly good value phone I must say.
