What I did was removing miui and installing havoc os 3.8 from xda and now it works like a charm, for example gaming on miui like asphalt 9 on the lowest settings It was barely playable but running havoc os with gpu turbo boost module I can play asphalt 9 on highest settings at a stable fps and even apex legends.

It was okay at first, it was responsive and long lasting but then after a few months of usage it got so laggy, screen suddenly goes black and force closes the app I'm using, it's very unresponsive so you have to turn it off and on again to be able to use it again and the camera sucks, the storage is meh and the features are also useless

The budg... morei have redmi 4x for many years very good and responsive phone even on most recent average games and wifi very very sensitive, i bought a new screen and keep it because one day i am sure this one will broke and i dont want to change for another phone ( i rooted it because some vpns need root to give optional functions and its perfect zero problems )
