my advice, if you can, try both phones borrowing them from people you know or at least try those which are exposed in the shop for test.
I wouldnt choose realme although in this case is better. it has too bright camera which I dont like. everything else is better on realme, performances and battery. but xiaomi is a some kind of a habbit to me.

In the "Pictures" section, they even show you the port. In Mi Global website also states it's USB Type-C.
