I just bought the 32gb variant and within just 2 weeks apps become very lagy and I can't even play games like cod properly rh screen just froze. Is there a way you can help me to reduce the lag and freeze?

i can only tell you some... moreyou can downgrade the phone you just need a laptop to unlock the bootloader and use fastboot to install old software i did that

hi guys i bought this redmi phone a month ago, tbh its really a good phone i updated it to miui 12 then i faced a really bettery drain then i downgraded it now i can play for 8 hours cod nonstop but the only problem is i have only 1.5 gb ram left and wich miui 11 is better the miui 11.0.4.0 or the miui 11.0.5.0 and wich one has a better ram managemend.

Exact opposite of Samsung Galaxy
I have been looking for al long term phone to retire mine S6 and due to the screen prices Samsung wasn't a way to go. While on Samsung You get High-spec hardware wasted b the firmware (Upgrade to lineage usually giving you several times the phone),
MIUI is closer to Lineage. With few Asian downfalls
Thanks to a very lite UI phone doesn't get to use more then half the cores and as such the battery lasts a long time. Cameras are OK : Low spec hardware, with light app with andy torch feature within camera app. (the watermark on a picture makes it look cheap but after you notice it first time its easy to disable it)
The hole UI experiance is however lowered with few cheap junky features like the virus scanner with add for every new app (I did not bothered to seek the way to disable it yet)
I do not expect it to be on a level of Googles own and as such its pointless outside china.
The cheaply made tuning app (again with add) is something that most roms have built-in.
The UI lowers itself down even more by unnecessary apple like icons making it look like imitation iPhone. This is putting the phone down unnecessarily as many consider android superior to IOS.
It comes with with PICO GAPS (well done for less GOOGLE junk) and if you want more Google stuff you can add it. ROM comes with some spam apps (most noticeably aliexpress which will keep spaming your notification area)most of which can be removed. Camera is probably the only well made XIomi app (FM radio app is Neither good/nor bad). The rest of them are inferior to the common equivalents, especially the media player (including the gallery one) that struggles with most videos (vlc hapily replaces it).
Big negative is the issue with holding phone heavily influencing the signal level. (most I have ever seen)
I could not find a custom ROM, and Dont think I can make Lineage for a second phone, I dont have the time it took me on mine old S6 (inferior to the mainstream unofficial), but I hope somebody might

Just purchased mine. 4GB RAM 64 internal storage version. Updated it to MIUI 12.04 Stable. Excellent performance overall, outstanding battery life, great audio and calls quality, nice music player and plugins for earphones. Beautiful designed and feels comfortable in hand, carbon gray color looks fantastic and with the semi transparent silicon case looks almost black. Best phone ever had.
Won't compare, won't criticize or throw sand on its eyes because of price or some other intricate tech details we all know. It's a great phone, worth every cent.

I am using this phone for about 4 months. My experience is not good. It lags most of the time. The only thing I like it's Battery backup.
