Dont get fooled. In the official website, Redmi 9 only supports 802.11 b/g/n only. the spec above shows that it has "/ac" which supports "Wifi 5" BUT that only included in the "Redmi 9 (Prime)" model which (based on my readings) only availible in India. I dont know where can I report misinformation so I'm just gonna leave it here. (Note : Redmi 9 still supports "5GHz bandwith". it just that 5GHz on Wifi 5 is better)

What about screen visibility under direct sunlight when auto brightness is on cause i think 400 nits for an lcd too low . so can user see what on screen in bright sunny day ?
JustJustin, 04 Aug 2020Does it have reverse wireless charging? Long term reviews? And what are the downsides as a bud... more1. Phones in this price don't have wireless charging, let alone reverse wireless charging.
2. It can handle multitasking fine.
Its chipset is quite powerful, enough to get 40+FPS in PUBG. RAM is sufficient as well.
3. Budget phones are improving exponentially each year, but they usually require you to compromise in at least 1 or 2 things.
For this phone, the compromise is in its selfie camera. Luckily, it supports Gcam which can at least make its camera "usable".
4. It has IR Blaster, so you can control TVs & stuff.
5. It supports OTG according to other reviews.
6. The body is plastic, but that's the norm in this price.
It's overall a excellent phone other than its camera, especially the selfie camera. But then again, other phones in this price don't have great cameras either (other than by using Gcam).
Cat Boi, 04 Aug 2020Does redmi 9 support otg ?Yes, they have mentioned that in the specification
Does it have reverse wireless charging?Opinions from 1 month users? And does it handle multitasking well? Asking for a friend.

You can buy Realme 5 Pro or Xiaomi Mi A3 in its price. Or increase your budget and go for Redmi Note 9s.
So you'll get better performance in Redmi 9 and since camera of both phones are bad, you won't regret not going for Note 9.
