This phone sucks due to preinstalled apps slowing down the phone It has 9 USELESS preinstalled weird games that keep on sending the notifications and it can barely unlock when i just powered it on fingerprint does not register my finger the camera does not capture light and images are dark and some xiaomi videos app or i dont know sending me notifications about 18+ and such weird things the phone lags so much that i didnt ever heard a important call and it freezes and the bezels are so massive and screen uncomfortable and system took a lot of my memory and it felt so bad quality bc of that plastic back and frame My Samsung J6 gets better peformance even through it has weaker specs PLEASE DO NOT BUY REDMI 9C!!!

Bought this phone late last year for very cheap (54€) new.
Compared to my old faithful Redmi 7A this phone is mediocre at best, Mediatek is an absolute slow & lagging processor compared to the Snapdragon on the 7A, it struggles even with simple tasks and freezes on occasions . the screen does not always display all the texts on apps & websites in dark mode...
The only good points are:
- The price i paid for it
- Very good Battery life
- Ok camera

It is a good phone I have it since 2020 it may lag sometimes when pushed with many apps but the quality of electronics design is the best. 1st it does not get any hot even if being loaded with many apps which run and 2nd the battery duration is the best counting 2 full days with permanent data and wifi connections and mild socials and mail checking (background sync disabled). I am already checking the next Xiaomi with similar specs to buy for a renew even if this phone is as good as the day I bought it. Good job Xiaomi keep up and you won't loose.

This phone is very cheap but I have three main issues with it:
1. The camera quality, by the standards of the phone industry when this phone has launched is rather poor. Especially at night when the camera cannot pick up as much light as it needs.
2. After some time and updates, the phone begins to slow down and lag. It is bothersome to do basic actions such as taking photos or send money through apps because it can take up minutes to open them. I have rather minimal amount of apps and files on my phone (three social apps, three hundred photos and 2 misc. apps) and it still lags horribly.
That is why I have been thinking to switch to a more expensive yet a better phone, such as a iphone pro model from the post-X series such as iphone 11 pro or iphone 13 pro.

Well I know it hasn´t got a USB-C charging post but my last devide was micro USB anyways. Exellent phone!

Birdy, 02 Dec 2020The Redmi 9C NFC isn't a dual camera phone. It has a triple camera like the non NFC Redmi 9C!Someone said that the redmi 9c nfc has triple cameras.Xiaomi removed a camera and usb-c from the nfc version so they can afford the nfc chip.
