This is one of the worst phone one can buy
It doesn't even has the ability to perform simple tasks

This is the worst phone the system ui isn't responding too much. with mediatek helio g36 it doesn't support 64bit all time.

However, if you desire a smoother experience, consider selecting a phone that does not run Android Go, such as the Redmi 14c or one equipped with a more powerful CPU, like the A3x. This device is adequate and will receive updates for three years, which is excellent for its price.
For optimal performance, opt for a model with at least 4GB of RAM, disable any unused applications, and enjoy your enhanced user experience.

Who knows what have Xiaomi done in the last decade to get them in their position right now among earlier smartphone producers like iPhone and Samsung. And what have been famous so far from Xiaomi is their expertise in setting price. We should admit their professionalism while maintaning a possible low cost over competitors.
Xiaomi never gives up! They keep lowering price when necessary just like what happen to Redmi A3 we are commenting to.

P.S. This phone now is even cheaper in stores worldwide, by at least ten to twenty dollars.

Does anyone think we can judge a phone by its price? I think 99.9 percent of the answer agree to this. The only thing left 0.1 percent would be a refurbished device. I am talking about new released device here not old one or second hand.

I plan to use it for soci... moreI am using this phone with Android 14, and I installed Nova Launcher because the phone has some restrictions that I wanted to bypass in order to speed it up. Go for it—you won’t regret it. PS: I’m writing this from this phone, model 23129RN51X, with 4 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage.

I’m using it for navigation alongside those social apps, and I’ve never had any issues. The battery is very good, and it doesn’t overheat, even when charging with non-original chargers. So please, people, do not mislead others with answers if you do not possess the device; otherwise, every answer is based solely on specifications. In my opinion, besides the camera, this phone could be a little more expensive, and as an entry-level phone, it’s a great choice for the price

GOD of phone, 20 Jan 2025No .....This is not correct. I’m using this phone made for the EU market. It surprisingly works well for those applications. Do not go around and, with only the specifications as evidence, give such an answer
I personally use this phone, and it can do much more than just those social applications like Facebook, Meta, and Twitter,TikTok. You can turn on all those apps and keep them running in the background, and they won't slow down the phone for sure. You won’t experience any lag. Just install a Nova launcher, and everything will be fine.PS my phone have 4/128 GB

You may consider how many resources they have used for making one phone even for entry level phone. What it does mean is they have enough considered everything before making a useable phone. We can of course expect the nicer but it normally lifted the cost. I bet you knew how much it costs for a G36 proc and how much for a G85. It simply different enough for those who struggle with financial. And it certainly will help.

as social media apps gets more features, this phone will struggle to anything. given that they've put a 2018 SoC.

I plan to use it for social media purposes .... like watching youtube, tiktok, facebook ... etc and also Whatsapp, Telegram .... etc.... Is Redmi A3 good enough for these purposes? No problem at all. Instagram too, telegram too, whatsapp too. I dont have any idea. I have 128/4 (not 3 which mistyped before).
The only bug of this phone is sometimes the default music player has no sound, force close fix this. After update of the app happened.
Farhad, 15 Jan 2025I used Instagram and TikTok, and they ran quickly and perfectly. I don't know why you... moretiktok lite runs fine on this but the ui looks old, this phone struggles to run regular or full version of tiktok. and no it's not me having that issue, my friend had that issue.
