Great Phone, if you use it for watching movies, music & internet. NICE SCREEN SIZE, fits in your pocket easily and cute.
Battery is all right. (way better than other budget smart phones)
RAM will not be a problem. For internet, movies, music & most of the apps. 1GB is enough.
If you are someone who is always in a hurry, someone who needs to get things done REAL FAST. Then 1 GB will not be enough.
Whatever you do, DO NOT UPDATE android ! ! ! It slows down the phone.

Android go is just andriod OS made for low end device with go apps from Google

If you are looking for a smartphone,
-small enough to fit comfortably in the pocket.
-to use whatsapp,fb etc.
-to watch some movies offline/online and some youtube.
-cheap, so you don't have to worry about losing or breaking the phone.
then, this is the perfect choice. My parents have been using redmi go for the above purposes and so far, they are satisfied.
