Even the 3G works great for Downloads (Not for gaming due to 3G's latency issue). I suggest you to check with your operator, if you're using 4G sim, else upgrade your card & enjoy.

had this from 2019 to 2023. first phone i fell in love with. couldn't get a trustworthy battery replacement to save my life, though. switched to a boring ass S23. miss its looks and ergonomics, and the bezel-less display. first company to master the UD camera, with no tradeoffs, gets my money. hell, i'll take an IP68 motorized pop-up - that's how much i miss this baby.

Using this legend since Oct 2019 📱 — now 6 years old and still running strong! 💪 I’m a heavy user, changed the battery twice (2023 & 2025), and still charging with the stock 18W charger ⚡. Big praise to Xiaomi 🙌 for making such a durable flagship — truly one of the best long-lasting phones I’ve ever owned 🔥

bought this in 2019, still running on 2025 using VoltageOS A15 lol, solid device, changed battery already tho which is understandable for its age.

Still rocking this phone in 2025. Around 5,5 years of usage, I have replaced the battery and power buttons in the last 6 months but the original parts were not really broken or anything, just the button started loosing tactility and battery had 75% of it's original capacity (and that is after 1400+ cycles). One of the best phones I had so far. The only real succesor to this phone would be Poco F Pro series, but it feels like the market is leaning more towards cameras and OS, which Xiaomi just isn't good at, especially at this budget. These days I would consider Pixel/Nothing phones as both of them offer some great value for the money, maybe not in terms of performance, but today you don't really need a flagship chip to have smooth experience.

These phones are extremely unique with their slightly narrower displays, uninterrupted displays, microSD card slots(which is very rare), headphone jacks/ 3.5mm ports(also rare), great cameras and great performance. While I don't like that they got rid of the charger, they are pretty much the only big brand which kept the microSD slot on their flagships, it's especially useful for backing up data.
This phone is a true SHOWSTOPPER(at least in terms of features, I haven't used one so I don't know how good the software is).

You can find many videos on Youtube explaining the process of installation of any Custom Rom.
I think with custom rom, this device is still a beast.
I anytime prefere my K20 Pro over my wife's Honor 200Pro in terms of smoothness and fast response

Got this on November 2019 and still using it in 2025. What a phone! Changed the battery last month and it feels new again, easily 7+ hours SOT. Planning to upgrade, which is very reasonable but I can't find something worthy of a replacement. I want something that has a unique feature. (Like the pop-up camera) Considered Mi 11 ultra but SD 888 seems to be a hassle. Now, I am stuck on what to choose. Every phone feels the same now.

I mean... look at the design.
No camera bump, telescope included, decent size (not huge or too small), decent chip and battery, front camera hidden (no bezels), headphone jack included, durable..
Have we been brainwashed by manufactures and youtubers that latest trend is better when in fact not?
Clearly, this design was superior than most latest smartphones around!

Funny but I got bored of latest smartphones, and am looking for the device as well.
Don't you think it was such a great device??
It was real tough (according to JerryRigEverything), can hide front camera, good processor and good battery.
I mean look at design from latest smartphones... they are ugly (huge camera bumps), not that durable, no headphone jack and most of them don't even have telescope.
We are kinda being brainwashed by manufactures these days to think that latest trend is better than past, but is it really??

Overall redmi k20 pro is good for me, now im looking for k80 pro, hope the feeling is same.

I had the same issue. Got fixed after replacing the old battery with a new one. The problem is gone and the backup has increased too. ☺️

Because when it drop to 20 percent the phone quickly turn 0 percent then turnoff automatically I've try to turn it on the phone show 0 percent battery

I purchased this phone in July 2019.
I'm very pleased with it.
It works perfectly, although I had to replace the battery 8 months ago.
