Smooth and fast perfomance, realy a flagship phone
Price low, camera quality low?
I think those who think this phone is good, and those who think this phone is bad, no need over exaggerate the matter. There is no perfect smartphone, there is no fair term of which smartphone better or win another smartphone.
Every smartphone has their own pros and cons, and each smartphone has their own selling points.
But before purchasing each of the smartphone, you need to study and research which one suite you the best, down to the specs and features, certain quality aspect such as camera performance and build quality, UI experience, pricing, and brand.
It is difference for every person's need.
Gud phon
Xiaomi wins hands down when it comes to hardware with those pricing compared to OnePlus's, but OnePlus wins on OS development side, you can change china Version of OnePlus easily to International/Global rom & still get OTA updates. If you were to convert China xiaomi to International/global Rom & vice versa it'll break the OTA updates and all sorts of software problems arises.
Reborn, 27 Aug 2019I live in Europe and I have the opportunity to buy K20 Pro, but should I wait for the arrival ... moreThey are totally the same, go for K20 pro but be sure that the global rom on it not the chinese one.
sadly this model came out late.. i buy phone according to its processor cause i just want to play games. i dont give an F about camera's cause i rarely use it. good processor good screen.. i play on my friends phone she have this model very satisfying..
ddas, 28 Aug 2019Camera is one of major deciding factor for buying a mobile....if that's not the case then why ... moreNo you wouldn't sell your k20 pro to buy a one plus 7 and you know you wouldn't. Stop talking nonsense. One plus 7 pro is twice the price. That's the reason you bought the k20 pro because you KNOW it's a better value for money. Stop being a crybaby.
Anonymous, 28 Aug 2019I am happy to pay more if xiaomi use f1.8 in all 3 cameras. Telephoto and wide cameras become ... moreTrue!
Vvv, 26 Aug 2019What is flagship means to you? Camera? Then go buy a DSLR. This phone has all the good hardwar... moreCamera is one of major deciding factor for buying a mobile....if that's not the case then why brands are running behind megapixel race? Then why r u buying smartphone with camera?...go and use feature phone only for calling and play games on Xbox..click photos on ur so called DSLR and rest functions on PC or Laptop.
U can't... b'coz these all r not handy... that's y there is smartphones...a compact a palm/portable solution.
And if Xiaomi is calling K20pro a complete flagship then they shud give a flagship level camera optimization (i.e. camera software) as they are giving good optics hardware except OIS.
If someone can return my full hard earn money, I wud sell this K20pro and buy OP 7 giving 4k more.
Reborn, 27 Aug 2019I live in Europe and I have the opportunity to buy K20 Pro, but should I wait for the arrival ... moreIn Europe, buy the Mi 9T pro. K20 Pro doesn't provide the B20, essential for 4G in Europe.
Reborn, 27 Aug 2019I live in Europe and I have the opportunity to buy K20 Pro, but should I wait for the arrival ... moremi 9t pro has nfc. k20 pro doesn't have
Good experience, value for money
@shu, 27 Aug 2019Anybody tell me,Is k20 pro having any heating issues?No... and I'm a gamer, i didn't find any heating isssue
I am writing this review after one month.
I can straight away say that this is one of the best smartphone available in the market for the price. If you can live with few compromises then you will never regret buying this.
Pros:
1. Gorgeous display, no obstructions or hindrances in viewing experience.
2. Great Battery life.
3. Snappy performance with default POCO launcher 2.
4. Great Camera performance throughout the optics range.
5. Great gaming experience and no over heating issue. (Honestly I am not a heavy gamer but played pubg and other games for testing purpose)
6. Great Cellular reception.
7. No connectivity issue whatsoever.
8. Great GPS accuracy due to dual band gps.
9. Loud speaker output is great but could have given a stereo setup.
10. Headphone output is superb.
11. Great memory management(using 8gb varient)
12. Great built quality and looks (glacier blue).
13. Charging speed is also pretty great with default charger.
14. Fast fingerprint sensor.
There are few thing which leave us desiring for more.
1. OIS for main camera.
2. Proper IP rating.
3. Hybrid expandable slot would have been great to have.
4. Stereo speakers would have been a great treat.
Overall I am very happy to have bought this. No matter the shortfalls this is still an absolutely beast of a mobile.
I am selling my Galaxy S10e now and will keep this device.
Go for it guys you will not regret.
I know there are other great device and you have to pay almost double the amount to get them, infact I am using one of them and now will sell it off.
Hope this will help few of you who are looking or thinking to buy this.
This is strictly my opinion and you mave have a different one. If you don't agree feel free to but an expensive device which would definately cost much more to get a slightly better user experience.
I am happy to pay more if xiaomi use f1.8 in all 3 cameras. Telephoto and wide cameras become useless on most occasions because of f2.4.
Anybody tell me,Is k20 pro having any heating issues?
Do K20 pro chinese version has any GPS problem in it?
With 64gb storage, ive never needed to use the sd card. Wireless charge, sd card, water proof are extra features that i never use. This is a really promising phone for under $500!!!
